We had good service the first time in January 2026. Quick and seemed reasonable on the electrical/sensor work. The second time, coming back February 2026 we were quoted over $1,000 on a job. The shop quoted $800 in parts. Getting the parts myself, it was $200. The shop quoted about $190 in labor. I did the job in 30 minutes. I understand businesses need to make a profit, but I strongly believe the pricing was unreasonably high.

Siamangs Auto has earned my trust in a way no other shop ever has. As a single parent who knows nothing about cars, it’s easy to feel vulnerable walking into an auto shop—but they have never taken advantage of me, not once. They genuinely care about the people they serve. More than once, they’ve advised me not to spend money with them and instead go to my dealership because it would save me a significant amount on repairs. That kind of honesty is rare. This week I had another issue come up, and they got me in immediately and fixed it on the spot—simply because they knew I didn’t have help and needed my car safe and running. Their pricing is more than fair… it’s kind. I’m incredibly grateful for this business and the integrity they operate with. I won’t go anywhere else… unless they tell me to. Thank you Mike and team. My dreaded check engine light came on, as a single mom that small little light can cause hige stress. I called around for prices and this place was by far the best. Saved me 500-800 over the other guys. Kevin was wonderful walking me through the steps and even putting my mind at ease till I could get to the shop a few days later. Highly recommend having you car serviced here.

CAUSED ME TO BE STRANDED! I travel for a living and always get my car serviced prior to a long drive. I chose Simmang's for their reviews, certifications, and because I wanted to support a local shop. I called A MONTH IN ADVANCE and once again to verify my appointment only to come to the day of the appointment to hear, "we don't have you on the schedule." They squeezed me in anyway for an oil change, light diagnostics, and to do a general inspection for a long trip. I dropped off my car around 8 am and did not receive a single call until I CALLED at 5 pm (1 hour to close) when they started working on it. An oil change with REGULAR oil costed me $50 when I normally do this myself at home with synthetic oil. They placed a sticker on my mirror that stated my mileage, but the numbers we incorrect by thousands of miles (another red flag of inattention to detail). Fast forward, I make a 500 mile trip back home. We hear a popping noise and my oil light turns on. We pulled over to the side of the road and the hood was steaming and black oil was leaking. We were stranded on the highway, in the middle of nowhere Texas for hours in the heat with a dog. We suspect the oil filter was not capped tightly enough. I lost my car and a lot of money. Nice people, but I'm highly disappointed that I trusted this business to keep me safe on the road. Please look elsewhere. "We've been really busy" is not an excuse for poor quality service.

Mike was amazing!! He quickly diagnosed the issue, resolved the problem and was friendly along the way. His price was VERY reasonable and he went above and beyond! I HIGHLY recommend him and Simmang's Automotive for ALL of your repair needs!!!
