My dad's car broke down in Castroville, and Albino's truly went above and beyond to help him out. After calling them for assistance, they promptly came to pick him up and towed his car to their shop. Since the necessary parts wouldn’t arrive until the next day, they even drove him to a hotel to ensure he had somewhere to stay. The following day, they picked him up from the hotel once the car was ready. Not only was their service incredibly thoughtful and accommodating, but their pricing was also fair. Albino's genuinely takes care of their customers, and this is what real customer service looks like. I highly recommend them to anyone needing reliable auto service in Castroville. ZERO*DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE* Daughters car overheated.She uses it for college & work.So I took the car and left it at Albinos to get checked out,put on machine and hopefully to get fixed. When I arrived back at the shop I paid $80 for the car check , then the mechanic shaking his head and said it was very very bad and that I would need the cars heating system replaced and the timing chain since it's in the area and needs service as well. I was quoted $3,500 and said that they can start right away.I told them I would make a decision and let them know. As I was walking out the mechanic then said we can instead charge you $2,000 instead. hmmm well, Luckily I have an extra older car that my daughter used until I could get a second opinion elsewhere. Well , the second opinion was an honest diagnoses from an honest mechanic who has a heart..It was the RADIATOR CAP!!! Car is running great now.no issues. Albinos will try and rip you off. So Sad that people have to be so dishonest.From all this ..at least I found an honest mechanic in San Antonio. And you have been honestly warned from a mom/grandma.So be careful and skip the rip offs at Albinos.
