William is an honest guy and cares about getting the job done right. He squeezed me in when he was already full and helped me out anyways. When I was paying him, I didn't notice I gave him an extra $20, but he pointed it out and made sure I knew. Great guy, I'd recommend him to anyone needing work done.

I had a sudden, unexpected transmission issue on my van while traveling through the area. When I called Will, he wanted to set reasonable expectations for what he could do on a tight timeline - and then he blew them out of the water. Dude is literally a hero: competent, professional, and clutch. Thanks for getting me back on the road!

So great to still have honest, kind people helping a single lady who gets ripped off too often😩. Thanks Will, you're awesome! Highly recommend.

Like many other reviewers, we were traveling when car trouble hit (on a late Saturday afternoon). Multiple dash indicators on our 2011 Subaru started flashing and the a/c cut out. Found Moonlight Auto just by googling, it had great reviews, and we couldn’t believe our luck in finding a mechanic shop open. Called the number, and Will called right back and said he could work on it in a couple of hours. Had dinner and then met him at his auto shop (at his house, in a neighborhood). He correctly diagnosed a sensor failure, had the part available, and had us back on the road in less than 2 hours (just as promised) for a very reasonable price. We wish Will were close to where we live- he'd be our go-to mechanic.

My experience with this mechanic, particularly with Will, was extremely frustrating and disappointing. I brought my car in on June 23rd for two specific issues: rear brake replacement and a diagnosis for a non-functioning AC. What followed was a series of delays, upselling attempts, poor communication, and ultimately, unprofessional behavior. June 24th: I was passively pressured to purchase brakes for all four wheels, despite clearly stating I only needed the rear ones. No progress had been made on identifying the AC issue. June 25th: Still no update on the AC diagnosis, but again I was pushed to replace all four rotors—another upsell I didn’t ask for. June 26th: I was informed that no work had been started and that both the brakes and AC wouldn’t be addressed until June 30th. June 30th: The timeline shifted again, and I was told the car would be ready on July 1st. July 1st: When I picked up the car, the brakes were only slightly improved, and instead of properly diagnosing the AC leak, coolant was simply added without flushing or repairing the system. July 10th: I contacted Will to let him know the AC was still blowing hot air. July 17th: I dropped off the car again for further AC inspection. July 21st: Will told me the car might be put on the rack the following day—indicating the car had again just been sitting. When I expressed frustration that these delays were affecting my ability to work (I rely on my vehicle for DoorDash), he accused me of being disrespectful. He then suggested we “talk like men,” and when I declined, he abruptly told me he would no longer be servicing my car and that I could come pick it up.
