Needed to have my radiator replaced and was told I was going to have a Mopar radiator put in. I was told that the Mopar radiator was going to be around $347 or I could get a aftermarket Murray’s radiator for about $80 cheaper. After I showed up Skyler said they couldn’t get a Mopar radiator so I questioned the quality of a Murray’s radiator and he instantly got bent out of shape and said it couldn’t be much worse than my Mopar one that went bad after 7 years. In the end I settled on the Murray’s radiator. After I got the invoice the Murray radiator was priced $340, which is pretty much what I was told the Mopar radiator would cost. Oriellys sells the Murray radiator for $261. I called Smokey’s and Skyler said they mark up the shop prices to make a profit, which I understand but an $80 markup is outrageous. He kept saying everything in the shop is recorded and on camera and I agreed to have this done, which is irrelevant to the conversation. He told me I came in the shop being a jerk just because I questioned the value of Oriellys parts. He was rude the entire time and refused to give me any contact information for his boss. I wanted to give this shop a chance to work on my vehicles but after this I doubt we will ever return. My name is Clayton and I brought my truck in on June 17. Response to owner: No I was not made aware that you guys would charge me the same price for a Murray radiator compared to a Mopar radiator. When I called for estimate I was told by you guys that it would be $80 cheaper for the Murray radiator. $80 isnt a lot of money but it’s just the fact that you guys aren’t standing by your word. What you’re saying is untrue. Never addressed the issue with how rude your manager was. People avoid this shop at all costs!!! Not worth the extra BS.

Just got done getting my brakes replaced here and what I can say is that this business operates quick, clean, thorough, and does a great job! The staff were absolutely incredible, and kind! They were very communicative through email with me, got me in the exact next day and it was a quick job! I needed my front brakes replaced, and they listened to my concerns and checked everything out for me! Also, I am a local and they gave a good discount, on top of that I had a communication issue (on my end) where I didn’t want my brake fluid flushed and I couldn’t pay the brakes and flush on one card and they just ate the flush job and only charged me for the brake replacement. They did not have to do that but they did, shows you what kind of people they are. I will definitely be back, come check them out, give them your business! (P.S. wifi, snacks, drinks, and coffee are complimentary)

This is a shop that cares!! My car was there today to be fixed but parts got stuck on the truck in the snowstorm. Couldn't be helped. My back up cars battery was dead. They got me in in under 10 mins and got my battery replaced, fluids topped off and tires aired up! Everyone is always so friendly and the price is very fair for quality work. No where else in the smokies that we will take our vehicles. We have found our auto shop home!!

I have had mixed experiences with Smoky’s garage. I have a Jeep wrangler that is my weekend toy that I enjoy investing in and my wife has a Jeep grand Cherokee that has been worked on at Smoky’s for mechanical problems. Both are 2021 models the work that Smoky’s did on her grand Cherokee has been done on time and on budget with no issues whatsoever. Honestly it’s been a good experience. But my Jeep wrangler has been a very different. Smoky’s is by no means a aftermarket off-road shop for customization as they advertise. No where close. They painted my fenders and within 6 months they are chipping and fading and will have to be redone. They charged me to realign my front headlight (blinding folks driving on other side) and they didn’t do it and charged me for it. But at least they told me they forgot to do it and told me to bring it back at my convenience but they shouldn’t have charged me for work not done. Most everything they have done to my jeep wrangler has to be redone but all the work was customization work so it’s not dangerous but just expensive since it’s got to be twice. I like the people there, I really do and it sucks that they’ve been this way. Honestly, I would trust them to fix something, but if your looking for customization work I would definitely look elsewhere. Tim Moore

Absolutely badass garage and people. I had thrown new A/C lines on my wife’s Escalade before heading down for vacation, needed vac’d down and charged. Called these guys and they took care of me with great prices and atmosphere. 100% recommend. Few locals told me about them and they did not disappoint. I’d pay extra if needed to do business with these guys!!!
