I showed up to find it closed, so I went to his neighbors, and had a wonderful chat. They sure talked up a storm about Hal. He's open from 5am to 12pm, to beat the heat. Makes perfect sense. Hal is genuinely the best price in town. He had my car done in just an hour, and still did great despite the swiftness of it. I was expecting over double the end price. Can't beat that. One of the best places you can find: just one guy who's been doing it all his life. No 19 year old new technicians stripping and over tightening bolts. Hal did my whole exhaust system, installing missing cats, welding pipes, and fixing the right muffler that was rear ended. He did a wonderful job. The exhaust tip he made is way longer and a different color than the left one, but who cares? It works, well, and for a very satisfying price. There was a rattle at first, but it disappeared completely by the time I got home, and hell, it is a badly rear ended car after all. I'm incredibly satisfied. I'll be recommending and going to Hal till either he or I take our last breath. Thanks, Hal. :)

My husband has a 2020 Ford F-150. He was quoted $2500 for catalytic converter at the dealership where he purchased the truck. We send a lot of customers to Ricks Automotive because he is known to be very reasonable in prices. He referred us to Hal, the owner of J&J muffler. We met with him, and he did not even charge us a diagnostic fee. He ordered the part and with in a few days, he had the part at his shop. We scheduled an appointment and he had installed it with in a hour and 15 minutes, at a very very fair price. We want to thank Rick for the referral, and Hal for being one of the most nice, professional down to earth person that we have ever met. We will be giving our business to Hal, or Rick for a future repairs that our vehicles may need in the future.

Was seen same day and took less than 30 minutes to fix my problem and charged me less than I would’ve paid back home. All I can say is ANSWERED PRAYERS. 100% would recommend many times over.
