Outstanding service at an honest price - that's what you'll get at Thompson Garage. Brian was highly recommended by a friend of mine and exceeded my expectations by a lot. Took my 2005 F-150 in to have the ailing Triton V8 engine replaced. I was impressed with the quality and thoroughness of the work, and Brian communicated with me throughout the process. He recommended replacing the ignition coils and fuel filter (both still original, at 180K miles!), the exhaust manifolds (one was cracked), found a missing sway bar bushing and replaced that, and the main belt tensioner which had a bad bearing that was near failure. The cabin also had some rust underneath from being up north at one point, and he painted that to prevent the rust from getting worse. I went with every suggestion he made and not once did I feel taken advantage of. Ole Red runs like a dream now. It's a night and day difference. She's got a new lease on life, and I'm confident she will be with me for a long time. If you're looking for a great mechanic, your search is over. Brian is the man.
