Earnie has owned his shop at the corner of Farris and Ridge rd. since long before I moved to the area in 2010. He fixed my mom‘s riding lawnmower back in 2007, so when I had trouble starting my push mower I called him up and he said bring it right down he would get to it the next day. Its very convenient having his shop so close as I live on Rafer Avenue not far from him. He is quick, efficient, and very reasonable on his prices. Quick story: Ernie has a Coke machine outside of his shop and when my kids were growing up they would save their money get off the bus and run down to his shop to get a soda(they knew I wouldn’t approve lol) but now that my children are older and are out of the house it makes for a lovely and funny memory to Reminisce about.
