About a month ago, I went to Tennessee Auto Xchange for a used vehicle. I don’t have good credit or a substantial down payment so I had to go with a buy here, pay here place. I chose this particular establishment because I know the owner. Not well, but I do know him. I was under the impression he rebuilds all of the engines when needed before selling a car because that’s what he always said even before I ever purchased from him. Within a few days, I had a coolant leak. Got that “fixed”. Everything was fine for a few days, until I had another coolant leak. Decided then I was going to have a certified mechanic look at it. My radiator was broken where the hose attaches to the radiator itself. Replaced the radiator out of my own pocket. Ended having to replace the thermostat as well. After the radiator was replaced, it was great for an about a week then I had another coolant leak. Took it back to the place I had the radiator fixed. After looking at it, it was determined that the car had a broken or cracked head gasket. Which I had already began to suspect after conducting my own research. Now, I am car illiterate, but every time I spoke to the owner at the lot he was rude and very condescending, speaking to me as if a child; I’m 38. I literally dreaded talking to him. That day I found out about the head gasket, I drove home with my heat on full blast with windows down to keep it from overheating. I called the owner and took the car back. I chose this place because I trusted him. I feel like that trust was betrayed and preyed on. I was in fact taken advantage of. Lesson learned if taking the word of someone I believed I could trust. After that experience I was nervous and hesitant about going to another buy here, pay here lot. But alas I had no choice. My family needed a vehicle and it was my only option. Thank God I found Dean at 865 Autos, LLC. They were kind and patient and understanding. The vehicle I have now is not perfect, but it’s been reliable and the service department has been working with my schedule to correct the few issues it has had. I would def recommend 865 Autos!

Not sure about every experience that people have had there but I had a negative experience with them. My sister and I were trying to find her a decent car at a reasonable price and we decided to stop in to check out what they had on the lot. The guys there seemed to be honest up to the point of the issues with a car my sister was interested in. The guy brought out a code reader but really wouldn't disclose the findings on the computer.
