Exit 122 Outdoor Power Equipment

Spent over $1000 on a new blower and weed eater 1/9/2026. Blower has a carburetor issue (most likely), and won't run properly when hot. Roughly 3.5 months old and barely used. They want to charge me to look at it, and say they will have to keep it for around 3 weeks. I could probably tune the carb myself, but that would potentially void any other "warranty" i may have. I should have paid attention to all the other bad reviews and avoided this place altogether. EDIT: after seeing the owners response, ill just say this, sure, the diagnostic fee may be waived, but then im going to be charged for the actual repair on a $600 three month old blower?! To quote them "the carburetor isnt a warranty item, its a wear item". Read the reviews, this is their typical response, politely skirt the issue and blame the consumer. THE SHEER AMOUNT OF 1 STAR REVIEWS ON THIS PLACE SHOULD BE A HUGE RED FLAG TO ANY NEW CUSTOMERS!!! Dont make the same mistake i did. And dont even get me started on how I was quoted roughly $50 less over the phone, and was then told "im not sure who you spoke with, but they shouldn't have quoted you that price. Prices are set by the manufacturer". Guess ill just eat that extra $50, and now the blower doesn't even function properly

I usually don't leave negative reviews. My preference is to work out issues directly with the company. My experience with this company has been horrific. The customer service group never had a correct status on the progress. I brought my mower in for repair over six months ago - to avoid the busy season. I was told that it would take at most 10 days. They gave me an estimate and I approved it. Good experience so far. Really long frustrating story short, my mower was never fixed. I followed up on it weekly and was told 4 times that it was done, pick it up. All 4 times that I went there, it wasnt complete. However, they charged me for it. Today, when I showed up to pick my mower up and cut my lawn, they wanted to approve another estimate to fix it. I told them I lost trust in them. They seemed like that was no big deal. They said will recycle the mover for you and toss it, but I was responsible for repairs. After a long battle, they gave me my money back. I was left with no mower to cut the lawn and no choice - now that it is busy season. There were plenty of solutions to make me happy and retain me as a customer. I just needed to cut my lawn. Extremely disappointed. When I asked to talk to the manager a month ago, he never returned my call. I went to the store and he said give me a day and we will have your mower ready to pick up. We shook hands and I trusted him. With no call back, I called a week later, again not done. They called me the next day and said it was done. When I showed up again. It was not done AGAIN. In 40+ years of working with vendors on issues, I usually leave feeling that I was treated fairly and did my part to resolve it. Not this time! All I expected was a solution to fix my mower and cut my lawn. I have numerous equpment that need service and several new purchases in mind. I wanted to give this "small business" the business, but I cant. When I told them this, they just walked away. I expected a solution.

Had my mower for almost 6 months. supposedly fixed the issue. Welp they didnt. Took to another shop. Had to replace the head as they torqued the spark plugs. thanks for over priced waste of time and money.

I was referred here by a friend, I was looking for a new CubCadet zero turn. The staff was amazing, i had wanted a new model that they didnt currently have in stock. They got a brand new one ordered, delivered there and put together, fast delivery. The process was smooth and pain free. I had a small problem after delivery with a wheel that was defective due to a bolt. Front castor wheel. The staff in the service department was quick to make it right for me. They went above and beyond helping me through that process. What more can you ask for? Sometimes bad things happen that are out of your control, that happens. It's about how the company responds to make that right. These guys are on point. I highly recommend coming here to purchase your next mower. I love mine, I've never had a nicer machine. I went with the Ultima ZT1 46" with the Kawaski motor. Highly recommended. It's so fun to mow with I've been doing my neighbors yard too, im sad when there's none left to mow! 2 acres just isn't enough with how fast and amazing this cuts. Doesn't seem to matter how fast I go, it cuts like some barber shop trimmers. Everything about this mower screams primo quality. I definitely recommend this shop and this wonderful machine. I bought a push mower from 122 power equipment less than a year ago. Had to have to carburetor rebuilt within 4 months of my purchase. It had a 2 year warranty so I wasn't concerned. When I brought it in I was told the carburetor was a "wear part", similar to a belt or blade and wasn't included in tht warranty. I paid the 70 dollars to get the carburetor rebuilt. I had to bring it back a month later because the carburetor is leaking out all my fuel. I was told my cub cadet zero turn is the same and the carburetor isnt included in the warranty. I dont recommend buying a mower from this place.
