Tennessee Transmission

I have a restored, 1994 Volvo 940 Turbo wagon, which I’ve owned since it was new. I am very particular about who works on my Volvo. When I developed a noticeable transmission fluid leak, I took it to Tennessee Transmission on Wildwood Avenue, after seeing some Cleveland City and Bradley County owned vehicles in front for service. I find the City and County government very efficient, and if they have their cars serviced here, I would be satisfied also. Greg made me an appointment over the phone, and got the Volvo to them in the morning to inspect the leak. Later in the afternoon, Greg called to report the car was repaired , and the problem was the steel transmission cooler lines did not have an appropriate flare on the ends to secure the rubber cooler line hoses and clamps. When I picked up my car, I was told there was no charge for his services. He deemed it a quick repair, and chose not to charge me. Besides living up to the high standards of his BBB rating, he has also earned my customer loyalty. Tennessee Transmission comes with my strong recommendation for your transmission needs. If you find any transmission fluid dripped onto the pavement, I can wholeheartedly assure you it didn’t come from my Volvo. Thank you Tennessee Transmission!

Was told about Tennessee Transmissions through another business so we went and talked to Greg about transmission issues. We were relieved to find out it was a simple fix. This business is a gem and the owner honest and hardworking! Saved us money that is for sure. Places like this are hard to find and we highly recommend!! Will definitely be back for other auto needs! Was not charged but we did set up a time to have our transmission serviced. Take care of your vehicles folks.

I had my 2500 worked on and they did an awesome job, very good work and VERY VERY honest with you. It's hard finding an honest mechanic, but if you need a mechanic, Tennessee transmission will take very good care of you and your vehicle

Great business to work with. Greg was very straightforward and fair. Hard to find honest mechanics these days. I have his number saved for sure. He looked at my 63 Ford Galaxie500 that had the transmission rebuilt by a company in Chattanooga few years ago that was slipping and not shifting. He was very informative with what he found and did what he could to fix the previous botched job but a rebuild would be necessary to get it right. Most places nowadays barely look at the problem & just quote you a high price let alone do what they can with minimal cost to fix it first before telling you the expensive is the only option left. A+ shop :).
