Between the two years, ten-plus distinct recall campaigns apply, including 18V824, 18V904, and 22V086.

2021 is the highest-volume year overall at 360 total complaints, though notably none are rated safety-severity in this data. The leading issues shift toward electrical wiring and an odd braking behavior: 57 reports describe the parking brake engaging on its own while driving, and 53 plus 35 more describe electrical harness failure and malfunction respectively, alongside daytime running light failures. Recalls 20V712, 21V026, 21V616, and 22V086 cover this window.

By 2022, complaint volume drops to 114 but two of fourteen problems are safety-rated: faulty airbags and sensor issues, and an automatic emergency braking system failure, alongside brake grinding and a random engine shutdown while driving; recall 22V753 applies and carries into 2023, a quieter year at 49 total complaints led by engine stalling during driving. 2024 shifts focus toward the infotainment system (18 reports) and brake-related recall issues (11), under newer recall campaigns including 24V723 and 25V434.

Given the volume of both complaints and open recalls tied to this model, treat recall-completion verification as essential regardless of year, particularly for anything built in 2018 or 2019 given the concentration of airbag and electrical safety complaints. These are owner-filed reports rather than a measured failure rate, and a pre-purchase inspection paired with a full recall history check is the most reliable path forward.
