Competent, Honest, Care about their customers. I recently dropped off my Toyota Tacoma at Tommy’s Automotive to have my front TRD Pro coilovers installed, followed by an alignment. The whole process went very smoothly, but as anyone who works on off-road vehicles knows, suspension work is rarely “simple,” especially when rust, seized hardware, and custom setups are involved. What really impressed me was how the team handled the alignment and communication. After lifting a truck, the suspension geometry changes, and caster adjustment becomes very important, especially for tire clearance on a Tacoma. There was some initial confusion during our conversation about caster direction and how it affects tire/body mount clearance. To be fair, this is very specific off-road Toyota setup knowledge, and I never expected the service advisor to know every detail of my exact truck. What mattered to me was that he listened, stayed open-minded, and was willing to work with me instead of brushing off my concerns. About an hour later, he called me back after speaking more with the shop owner, who has a lot of experience with Jeeps and off-road trucks. He openly told me that the information he had given me earlier was incorrect and sincerely apologized. Honestly, that earned a lot of respect from me. Mistakes can happen, especially with custom vehicles, but not everyone has the honesty and courage to own it directly. That kind of transparency is exactly why I’ll be coming back. The story did not end there. During the alignment, they found that the passenger-side lower control arm camber adjustment bushing was seized, which is very common on older Toyotas. Instead of immediately pushing me toward replacing the entire lower control arm assembly, they worked on a more reasonable repair plan: ordering the correct bushing, pressing the old one out, and replacing it properly. The next morning, after doing some of my own research, I called to ask if they could apply anti-seize between the new camber bolts and the inner bushing sleeves to help prevent future issues. Before I even asked, they had already gone above and beyond the night before by removing the camber bolt hardware and applying anti-seize to help make sure there would be no surprises during the repair. That level of attention to detail really stood out to me. Tommy’s Automotive showed that they are not only capable of working on modified/off-road vehicles, but they are also honest, transparent, and genuinely care about making the process as smooth and painless as possible for the customer. I really appreciate the way they handled everything, and I’ll definitely be bringing my truck back in the future.

I’ve been looking for a place close to home that I could trust to do what my car needs and not try and oversell or over charge. I am so happy I found Tommy’s to do just that. New brake pads and rotors, changed out my tire locks, topped the oil off and flushed my brake fluid and did not break the bank. 10/10 recommend and will use again

When my BMW M5 went out of warranty at Ottos, I started using Tommy's - my previous service advisor Kevin had moved there. Kevin and the crew here have been fabulous. I now take all my cars here and I drive 45 minutes to get to this shop it is that good. They are honest and just nice to deal with. Highly recommend them!
