This business is a true hidden gem and lifesaver! I had an appointment elsewhere that was canceled and within less than an hour of closing, Calabro's was able to mount and balance 2 tires that I desperately needed due to traveling out of town. Not only were they able to fit me in, but customer service and integrity go a long way for me and the entire crew were the most pleasant and helpful people I've ever encountered/experienced. Their shop and waiting room were clean and it is evident they take pride in their work/business. Forget the chain stores, family owned businesses is the way to go and Calabro's gives exceptional value all the way around.

I was a first time customer, and was recommended to come here via community Facebook reviews, and all I can say is BIG MISTAKE. this has to be the worst garage I’ve ever been to. I have a newly 4 year old Subaru that barely has 33K miles on it.. i regularly maintenance and service my car. They failed my car inspection because the brakes (which valid I knew were bad), and they failed my tires, they claimed they were “all dry rot” so since it’s AWD all need replaced, despite in actuality only 1 tire failed, the rest were fine. They charged average for oil change and inspection. They quoted very high for brakes and new tires. My mechanic I usually use who does brakes looked at my tires and questioned their inspection… none were dry rot. I then go to Sam’s Club for my new tires they requested… the Sam’s Club mechanics in the garage actually stopped work, tested my tires, and called me to say they DIDNT WANT TO CHANGE MY TIRES. They said Calabro was wrong, they tested all my tires and said I still had 1-2 years of life yet- they just needed rotated, and if anything the front tire they questioned could have been moved to the back of the car. So there you go, 2 professional options, different places all saying Calabro was wrong. Sam’s Club actually said I should report Calabro at the state level. It makes you question the integrity of this place because obviously everyone who comes here are suckers and it makes me wonder who else they are scamming. Maybe because I’m a women and they wanted to screw me over or maybe it’s because they are a tire shop as well and want to rip people off. All I can say is NEVER again and go anywhere else. Also the women who works the office was the RUDEST women I ever dealt with for an auto shop, very snappy and snarky.

We’ve been bringing our cars here for a couple of years now and after my most recent experience I will never take my car to another shop again. They were booked full for a couple of weeks but my rear brakes were grinding so they asked me to drop it off for a few days to see if they could get it to. After dropping it off I got a call a couple of hours later letting me know the brakes and rotors had already been replaced and my car was ready for pickup. Not only did they provide great service, the price was incredibly reasonable. I regret ever using the dealership for any non warranty service and will never make that mistake again. Spend a few minutes in their waiting room and observe how they treat their customers, especially senior citizens who may not really understand what is going on with their car or are able to afford much. They are incredibly patient and caring and work hard to find the right solution for every customer. There’s no reason to go to any other shop in the south hills!

I was at the garage today to have new tires installed on my car, and what a surprise!  Upon waiting for the installation, the technician came into the waiting room and informed me that I didn’t need new tires. He then took me out to the garage area and showed me the tread depth, and I was good for at least another 20,000 miles. I was stunned by his honesty, so I had him rotate and balance them since they were off the car. Since I was buying Michelins, he saved me much money. All I can say is REMARKABLE!!!  It was impressive, being my first time experience with purchasing tires with Calabro. Since I have another vehicle that needs tire replacement, I have made arrangements for them to do the install in two weeks. This time the sale will go through since the tires just barely passed the last inspection 😂 This company is 5-star plus in my book.
