DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE FOR MAJOR REPAIRS. I’ve been going to this place for years with different cars because it’s real close to my home. This shop has cost me thousands that I shouldn’t have had to spend because of their misdiagnosis and/or SCAM. I have a 2009 Lexus Ls 460 awd. The most reliable engine and transmission on the road, and after having an transmission failure, I paid to get it diagnosed and they told me I needed a new transmission costing a lil over $10,000 for parts and labor. After refusing I ordered a transmission from Canada and have a shop replace the transmission, just to find out, all I needed was a torque converter that only cost a few hundred dollars. About 6 months later I had an engine failure, and went to them again and they “guaranteed” they would find out exactly whats wrong, I got the car diagnosed and they informed me I needed piston replacements and a complete upper block replacement/rebuild again costing over $10,000. After refusing the scam once again and buying an engine, I had the engine installed by another mechanic, just to find out, “ALL I NEEDED WAS A WIRING HARNESS. “THEY ARE ABLE TO SOLVE SMALL ISSUES, but don’t trust them with any major issues or you will pay big money 1 way or another.

Michelle was easy to work with and stayed on top of communication. She was friendly, clear, and consistent, which made the whole process smoother. When we needed details, she got back quickly and kept everything organized.

Extremely Disappointed with Overcharged and Incomplete Service My dad brought Toyota Sienna to QYST Tire & Service at 8607 W Chester Pike in Upper Darby because the radio wasn’t working. The technician unclipped three panels and removed four screws — the whole process took about 10 to 15 minutes. They discovered that, when they unplugged the audio cable to the DVD player from the back of the radio unit, the radio sound returned. However, the SYNC, CD, and DVD systems were still not working, so he asked them to further diagnose and fix the problem. They admitted they weren’t sure what was causing the issue. What truly upset him was the outrageous charge — they claimed to have spent at least three hours on the job and billed him $346.97 for labor, plus a $10.41 surcharge fee. Charging for three hours of labor for something that took less than 15 minutes is unacceptable and dishonest. He left feeling completely disappointed and taken advantage of. He will never return to this shop and cannot recommend them to anyone looking for honest, transparent service.

I seldom write reviews but this experience overall should be known. I believe those at Qyst mean well and strive for the best though my experiences have shown otherwise. Not only has it been difficult for myself and my wife to get appointments. Multiple times I arrive on the day of my appointment and am meet with hardship. My wife has been insulted to the level she walked out and drove away. I have been told I do not have an appointment and come to learn myself I booked it with their relative Qyst store within miles. Though that could have been an understandable and easy mistake to fix, I was told there is “nothing on the books and I can maybe get to it next week.” This is after I called to confirm my appointment the day before. Qyst has fixed some things and performed an oil change on my car just fine. Sadly, one of the fixes had to be revisited and the other was aggressively priced. Understanding times are hard, I didn’t fight the price, waited for them to “put my car back together,” paid and took my car from Qyst with the original AC job not complete but charged over $370 for the side mention. Please mind the appointment was scheduled for Wednesday and this is in the afternoon on Thursday. Like I said I seldom write reviews but I believe this experience in June with +80* weather must be shared. Once I get home from this experience, the shop calls me after I leave and shared their tech forgot their flashlight in my engine bay. Asking if I could “bring it back today or tomorrow” out of good will and with no reward not gas expense. There was no concern about the negligence of this mechanic leaving a flashlight inside an engine bay they “put back together” it seemed they simply wanted the flashlight back. This shop is in a place I never travels to outside of the confusion for this mechanic visit. As I shared person on the phone did not offer any incentive to return for this act of kindness nor sorrow that Qyst retuned my car with a flashlight in my engine bay. Also shared little concern if the flashlight may have fallen onto the roads I drove on to get home. Simply asked the flashlight be returned as if I owed it to the shop and laughed when I shared I had concern about the situation. We might tell this is raw. The “please return my mechanics” flashlight without regard to my safety is the one that pushed me to write this. Now I am expected to get on my knees and maybe find a magnetic flashlight somewhere in my engine bay. Wish me luck! Towards Qyst. I am not happy about the above experience as you can tell. I went today to have my tire plugged. It was a hellish morning but they helped me and I am grateful! Special acknowledgement for Tom (I believe) for his patience while I couldn't find my wallet.
