Sam is an excellent man. He's been around the block for 20+ years and does a great job. I brought my van in for inspection and he took care of it. It needed some work and with his helper he got it done in a timely manner. It need new brake pads, sway bar, and ball joints. The van is a 2009 van and now drives excellent with inspection fully complete!

Sorry for the late review, Sam! I took my 2017 Ford Expedition to SNS a couple of months ago for a water pump replacement. I read the reviews on Google and felt pretty confident that they would perform quality work on my car for a reasonable price. A different shop down the road was quoting a few hundred more dollars for the same service, so I decided to take my car to SNS for the service. SNS is pretty much a one man show, with limited space and labor available. Sam does pretty much all of the work himself. Which is great because of his years of experience, but it can take a longer time to get your car back if there are other cars ahead of you. You don’t have the benefit of a big-box auto repair shop with several bays and mechanics to get your vehicle worked on and finished sooner. You also won’t get some of the same convenience regarding hours of operation with SNS, because they aren’t open late or on weekends like some other shops are, which means you may have to take a day or so off from work to get work done on your car. I had a particular instance where a part on my car got damaged during the repair process, but Sam, the owner ordered the part and then replaced it to make it right. I did have to take a day off of work to make that second visit though. So, overall my experience was honestly a little bit inconvenient and time consuming, but Sam is a nice guy, an honest guy, and has had a lot of experience in the auto repair industry which provides peace of mind. Ultimately, I would recommend SNS to my friends and family for the fair pricing and honest work, as many others in the reviews here have mentioned!

We are not from this area and after some experience with a chain (👎) we got a recommendation from a friend of ours who uses Sam. Sam has been our mechanic for the last several years. Sam has been honest, accommodating for our working family, knowledgeable and friendly. He has done the ‘let me try one more thing’ before going down the road of expensive replacement. GIVE HIM A TRY! He has been so helpful to our family of cars!

My family has been going to SNS(Sam) for 14 years. Sam has serviced all of our cars, new and old. His pricing is always fair and much lower than the dealer. He is honest and tells us if we need a repair immediately or if it is something that can wait awhile. Sam has adjusted items on our cars for no charge. We never have a problem getting an appointment. We have been so pleased with the work that he has done on our vehicles that my son’s fiancé, who lives in Maryland, waits to have her car serviced at SNS, instead of the dealership in Maryland. Sam has done body work, oil changes, inspections, engine work, tire installation and so much more during the past 14 years on our vehicles. We have never had a complaint about the work that he’s done. We will continue to trust him with our cars. It is very difficult to find a mechanic that you can trust and is honest with you.
