Nordic Motors-Volvo Specialists

I'm a big fan of this local shop! I learned about them when I was parked at the Plymouth Meeting Mall, and someone put a flyer on my windshield w/ a coupon on it. I decided to try it for my next service, and since then I've always brought my car there. Sydney at the front desk is really friendly, Steve is great about getting everything done nicely, and recently they've hired someone from Volvo Fort Washington, where I used to take my car. They do great work for very reasonable prices compared to the aforementioned dealership. For waiting in the shop, they have Wi-Fi available, so I've worked from there while waiting, which has been pretty convenient. They also have a table with charging ports, which makes it even more convenient. Aside from that, they do offer loaners, think they have two on hand. I've driven them both, and they're both good cars - certainly older than what you'd get at the dealership, but I actually prefer that b/c it feels nice rather than a letdown getting back into my car after the work is done. Apparently they also sell used cars, one of which is available now and is a somewhat tempting stick shift (older) Volvo sedan.

First timer here at Nordic Motors in Plymouth Meeting.And let me just say from being an adamant google review seeker and follower, when looking for a new place, business or experience. They have yet to let me down. Not trying to make this too long and drawn out but let me just say Nordic has earned them a new customer! I took my 2018 Volvo S90 here this past week and I was not disappointed. Instead I was blown away and impressed by the better service here then I ever received at any Volvo dealer since being a Volvo owner! Sydney was amazing ,very welcoming and helpful. And all I can say about Steve (owner)is he is professionally the real deal, top notch , the best of the best. I am more than satisfied with my experience here. And I highly recommend Nordic Motors. Thank you guys again!

My cooling fan would not stop running and ran my battery until it died. This was a Monday night and I needed the car for a 5.5 hour drive on Thursday morning to visit my son in college. My mechanic recommended Nordic since he couldn't get it back to me in time. I took it to Nordic the next morning who diagnosed the problem, but said it would take 2 days to receive the repair part. I understood and said if there was anything they could do to receive it sooner I would appreciate it. A few hours later, Sydney called and said it was ready! Turns out they went to go get the part rather than waiting for it to arrive. I was floored and utterly grateful by that incredible act of service. Sydney and Steve (the owner) were incredibly nice, communicative and knowledgeable. Could not have asked for a better first experience with this company.

Hit a pothole & snapped a ball joint & Nordic Motors worked quickly & efficiently to turn the job around in a day. Harry is extremely knowledgeable about ALL Volvo's & explained the problems with my car including service/parts that would be needed in the future. Wasn't pushy & trying to sell things that weren't needed to fatten the service bill & I certainly would recommend them to friends & family that drive Volvo vehicles. Paul B.

This was my second time bringing my car here for service, and I continue to be impressed. I have an older Volvo that my wife loves, so I’m trying to keep it running as long as possible. The owner was incredibly professional, friendly, and patient. He took the time to clearly explain everything and made sure I felt confident that the issue was resolved. I usually work on my cars myself because I don’t trust dealerships and it’s hard to find a reliable shop. But this place has truly earned my trust. If you own a Volvo, this is hands down the best shop to bring it to!
