I have been going to Kananski Auto since I moved out this way and I have nothing but great things to say. Steve is always looking out for the customer and runs the most honest shop that I’ve come in contact with. I’ve had to have quite a few things fixed, and they go above and beyond to make sure that all the car needs are taken care of, and they really care about the quality and reputation of their work. They also don't mind installing customer supplied parts which is really nice! I had a great experience with David Kanaskie’s Auto Repair and wanted to take a moment to recognize their honesty and communication. I brought my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee in for an intermittent starting issue that has been difficult to diagnose. Instead of guessing or throwing parts at the problem, they took the time to properly evaluate the vehicle and were completely transparent about what they found. When they couldn’t replicate the issue, they said exactly that. No upselling, no unnecessary repairs, just honest feedback. They clearly explained the diagnostic codes, walked me through what could be causing the issue, and pointed me in the right direction for next steps. I especially appreciated how they communicated potential causes without overpromising or jumping to conclusions. It’s not always easy to find a shop that prioritizes integrity over quick fixes, but this team absolutely does.
