Bill is absolutely fantastic to deal with. Tons of knowledge for all things tuning. He saved my boosted LS2 engine and prioritizes maximum performance without sacrificing engine health (unlike my previous tuner who was comfortable with engine knock/detonation…). Another major thing is he is very patient with any questions that I had, and never declined answering or explaining what was going on while tuning, as well as giving advice. Excellent experience, now I’m a permanent customer for the future.

Bill saved my car! My custom built 928 spent a year in FL after a timing belt slip. Mechanically was repaired but it never ran 100%. I took it to Bill to get it sorted out and after consulting determined the old MegaSquirt computer needed replacing. Bill rewired all components, and we went with a Motec setup and it runs better than before!

I own a 2008 Roush Blackjack. I had a bad hesitation / dead spot shifting into second gear. I Bought my Roush from previous owner this way. Frustrated I brought it to a local mustang mechanic and he changed the plugs. I Still had same problem. He told me it was a fuel pump problem and couldn’t help me. Then I took it to another local speed shop. They said it was probably a tune problem. That speed shop referred me to Second Street Performance and arranged my Roush Mustang to be trailered to Pennsylvania. Two days later I got a call from Bill the owner of SSP and he told me I had the wrong plugs installed. Bill also said my Roush was out of tune. So Bill erased the tune and perfectly designed his own tune according to all the performance add ons. Not only did my Roush run impeccable. I also gained almost 40 hp. Bill is amazing! It’s been over two years and my Roush still runs insane. Thanks Bill !! Well worth the drive to Pa. to have your car tuned !!
