My family had mixed reviews about this shop but due to convenience of location I figured I would give the shop a try and now I regret that. My car was lagging to start but was confirmed to NOT be the battery. This information was relayed to Joe. The same day we got home from vacation they dropped our car off (we live a few houses from the shop) with a bill on the front seat for $556. They changed the battery. It did NOT fix the problem. We called him and told him the problem was not fixed. He responded with texts asking for the money. We asked if he were to look at the car again would there be an additional charge since he did not fix the problem in the first place and he never responded to the text which was on April 10th. Today, April 22nd, he speaks to my step father and says he committed theft by “taking the car without paying”. To reiterate, the car was dropped off to us. He did not fix the problem. He never responded to checking the car again that he failed to fix. He has been paid but has lost customers. If he would have attempted to fix his wrongs without bad mouthing this could have been a different review.

Took my car to Joe for a starter replacement and when I got the car back in ran for 30mins before dying again. I took it back to Joe in which he was disrespectful and no help. Unfortunately, I had to take it back to the dealership for them to look at. They stated Joe had improperly done the job and that caused the car to die again. If just for the mistake I would not be upset but the fact Joe was disrespectful to me after I went back to tell him the car was not working makes it easy for me to not recommend.
