South Hills Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat Service

I had some unforseen issues with a truck I bought shortly after purchase. I went to a different CJDR dealer before South Hills and had horrible experiences with rude people. I ended up having my truck towed to Sputh Hills CJDR and from the first moment, Josh made me feel like part of the family. Thank you to all the people who took care of my "Texas Problem Child". I couldn't have asked for a better crew to take good care of me and my truck.

I had a horrible experience with service at south hills cdjr- I made an appointment ( early morning) , had my van there the night before, I promptly answered the numerous texts and phone calls about service for a state inspection and was told that my vehicle would be done by the end of the day. At around 1 PM they contacted me and told me the van would not be completed by the end of the day. The service technician had moved on to a different project. I was preparing to drive my car out of state the next morning, I was informed, there was nothing they could do. If a repair ( In this case, it was a safety recall along with the inspection ) Is going to take more than one day, that’s important information to have before the appointment. This dealership seems understaffed to serve the number of customers they have. It is often very difficult to get an appointment. I genuinely like the van I own, but I will not purchase another one because this dealership is the one that services my area. In addition after an interaction where I spoke to the manager about how large an inconvenience this was to me, nothing was said to us when my husband went to pick up the van. It is very clear that I am not an Important customer to this dealership. I do understand that things happen, employees call out, but to have a technician shift to work on something else suggests to me they do not value my time or care about my inconvenience.

Ridiculous amount of money just to “diagnose” the problems, which they don’t tell you about when you make the appointment. Vehicle was misdiagnosed- one of the things that they said was the issue was NOT the issue. Went to pick up vehicle, and they brought the wrong one out to me- I then had to wait an additional 15 minutes for them to find mine. I told them I wanted the one problem fixed (not the other one that I knew they were wrong about). They told me the parts would take about 4 days to come in. Here we are, 11 days later, and I haven’t heard anything. Which is fine, because I found another place to do it for far cheaper. Definitely do not recommend.

I have a 2012 grand Cherokee and the mechanics at this Jeep establishment have taken care of my baby for several years now. Every-time I drive away, it feels almost new. The Jeep is quiet inside, drives superbly and I am grateful for the mechanics who take care of this Jeep. I wish I could get a newer version but they are so well made, the costs today have me cherish what I have. Again, thanks to the mechanics and the dealership who take care of my Jeep.

$1200 in labor to install a $159 part. Don't take your car here unless you have no other choice or you enjoy being swindled. The part in question was a relay kit on a 2015 Jeep compass. Go on youtube and watch someone in real time change one of these in 20 minutes. Also note the 11 days it took to do the job.
