Six Star Service and Performance Fabrication

I recently had head studs and valve springs installed on 23 WRX. Everyone was so helpful and the quality of work was fantastic. I picked up the car and drove from Pittsburgh to Iowa the next day with zero issues. If you need any work done to your Subaru, six star is the place to go!

Plus the techs Devin and Jerome will get you right no matter what the job. Not to mention they have one of THE best tuners in the nation with JrTuned. You get the best of both worlds when you come here and that’s a hard thing to come by! These guys will treat ur car just as you would and go above and beyond when the job requires it. First and foremost, I highly recommend Six Star. From my very first phone call, the staff impressed me with their knowledge, professionalism, and guidance to ensure I got the most out of my visit to the pro shop. To give some context, I had never been to a dyno or had any of my cars professionally tuned before and my only experience was what I’d seen online. Naturally, I had a lot of questions. He answered my questions thoroughly and even suggested a few upgrades to help me get the best results before my dyno day. Five Star Follow-Up Review - Six Star Performance When I first arrived at Six Star Performance, the atmosphere felt like something out of a “Fast and Furious” movie, in the best way possible. I was immediately greeted by Jay Stulbarg, who was incredibly friendly and eager to help. I explained the issues I’d been having and that it was time to upgrade some parts, including the turbo and AOS. During that visit, Six Star Performance quickly identified the cause of the oil leak—an actual broken valve on top of the motor block. Instead of just recommending an upgrade, they acknowledged the significant investment I had already made and addressed the root of the problem. I left my car with them, and they went above and beyond by rerouting wires in the engine bay to clean everything up. The quality of their work was evident, and they completed the job in a timely manner. Six Star installed my new AOS and turbo, and put my car on a base map until I could get tuned by JR. Even on the base map, the car drove better than it did with the tune from the other shop—no boost, under 4,000 RPM, and still smoother. While waiting for JR to come into town for the tune, Matthew Cole, the owner of Six Star Performance, followed up with me to ensure everything was running smoothly—a level of care I genuinely appreciated. The entire staff at Six Star demonstrated a genuine enthusiasm for helping their customers, making the experience feel far from the impersonal atmosphere of a dealership. When the day came for my tune, I was greeted by Jay Stulbarg, Matthew Cole, and JR. They were all incredibly friendly and down-to-earth. Matt’s passion for cars was clear, and it was obvious that he’s dedicated to helping people achieve their goals without draining their pockets. JR, with his extensive Subaru background, took his time during the tuning process, offering valuable insights on maintaining the reliability of my vehicle and suggesting future upgrades. I highly recommend Six Star to anybody for their Subaru needs! Had a IAG 750 closed deck installed along with upgraded fuel system and turbo and all supporting mods and hit some awesome numbers on the Dyno with JR Tuned.. Jay at Six Star really made me feel like family and kept me in the loop through the whole build. Wouldn't take my car anywhere else.
