My husband and I really like the DeGrandis. We are very pleased with the service they provide. I will never forget the day that I had a post operation check up at UPMC, Hershey PA. We had a tire issue and we made a stop at DeGrandis to get it check. We told them about my doctor's appointment. They took us right away. and they fixed our car and were able to make it for my appointment was 1PM appointment and they didnt even made us pay. I also refer my friend to DeGrandis and she was very pleased on how they addressed her car issue. She said that they are so good and honest. Thank you DeGrandis and keep up the good work. I honestly wish I lived closer because this would be my mechanic. I was driving through from Delaware with my young daughter when something got stuck underneath my car, and I was so worried about making the drive home. Even though they were down a mechanic and clearly busy, they fit me in because they said I sounded worried. They got my car on the lift right away, showed me exactly what was going on (it turned out to just be a piece of metal from the road), removed it, checked my oil, road tested the car, and made sure everything was safe before I left. They even had cold Pellegrinos in the fridge on an incredibly hot day. They treated me with so much kindness and honesty, and they didn’t charge me anything. I was genuinely blown away. I may be in Delaware, but I’d absolutely make the drive back here if I ever needed a mechanic again.

I was driving on the highway when my check engine light suddenly came on, and within minutes I couldn’t accelerate past 20 mph. I got off the highway and went straight to DeGrandis without an appointment. Art, Rob, and Rob took amazing care of me from the moment I walked in. They checked out the car within about 30 minutes, ran diagnostics, and quickly identified that it was likely a transmission issue. Even though they spent time helping me troubleshoot the problem, they didn’t charge me anything and referred me to a trusted transmission shop up the road (which unfortunately confirmed it was an expensive repair). What really stood out was that Art even called the transmission shop ahead of time to let them know I was coming. That level of customer service and honesty is rare. Couldn’t recommend this shop enough.

Took my BMW in for a second opinion after another shop recommended replacing the evaporator. I had already ordered the part but wanted to be sure before moving forward. The team at DeGrandis took the time to properly diagnose the issue instead of jumping straight to a major repair. They identified that the problem was actually faulty Schrader valves, replaced them, recharged the system, and added fluorescent dye for verification. The AC has been working perfectly since, and I was able to return the evaporator and avoid an unnecessary and expensive repair. I really appreciated their honesty, thoroughness, and focus on getting the diagnosis right the first time. Highly recommend.
