Upfront and professional family owned shop. Spence was great. I brought my car in for an electrical issue. He ran every test possible to find the issue and he did. The guy knows what he's talking about. I'm glad I found him because my mechanic who was across the street is retiring. It can be tough to find a mechanic you can trust.

I always believed that the dealer was the person with the best tool set and data to work on a car, that a dealer has all the information to correctly diagnose and repair and maintain a car. I have been using Spencer's for years - and while I get that you can get 'similar' alignments, repairs, etc - for cheaper - I will say that actually wrenching on cars at various times in my life, that they care, take the time to do it right, and consequently you get what you pay for (hence value) - whereas with the cheaper places I cannot say the same. I take my cars there for anything I will not do myself and sometimes even then for things I could. Why? Because I know it is going to be done right to exacting standards - and in the rare occasions that I felt like it may not have ended up exactly right - Spence is fair with such things - if it was something on their end, he makes it right. If it is something of an additional nature he has always taken the time to explain how they do things, what the next steps are and best guess to cost to do the next steps. Honestly, car repair is not always as straightforward as one would think anymore - but having dealt with dealerships and many other small shops - it is really tough to find a team that is going to do the right things the right way, work hard, work with you and even go the extra mile.
