I can only add to the remarks of the other five star contributors here. From my first time at the shop, Walter made me feel like I was working with an old family friend. His honesty, acumen and insight are outstanding. He is simply the best! When my car (or cars) were in bad shape, he'd never let them go until he made sure they were absolutely safe and roadworthy. His prices are always very reasonable. When there are particularly challenging problems, he works to deliver the best solution. In addition to his obvious professionalism and work ethic, Walt is an unfailingly genial and personable Christian gentleman. I give him my highest recommendation, without qualification!

Walter communicates well what he feels the issues are and isn't done until he is certain it's fixed. No short cuts. Straightforward with a smile and sparkle in his eye. I have no hesitation in recommending his business to you. After a series of disappointing repair experiences, I've finally found someone I can count on!

Walter Smith is an excellent thorough mechanic! He’s possibly the last (or only) honest mechanic left in the world !! He will never overcharge you or make you fix things that are not necessary…he will keep you safe and your car in good repair! He’s the best!

Walter is not only a great mechanic, but just a great person in general. Personable with his clients, and so genuine. He goes the extra mile, and actually cares if you're driving a safe vehicle without trying to drain you of money unnecessarily. Prompt to reply, and always incredibly kind and understanding. 100% recommend and will be taking my vehicles here until the sad day he retires.

When I 1st called Walt I was very impressed by his honesty and he came to my house to put his scanner on my car. Told me what to do and to call him when it was done and he would come back and scan it again. So I fixed what he said. I finally talked to him and he told me to call back yesterday. Again left a voice mail. Called him today..left another one.. he has yet to return any of my calls. Waited 3 weeks on him. Nothing but wasted time. I may consider changing my review if he calls me back.
