Well,This was a bit nerve racking for my situation. I ran out of diesel in a 2015 freightliner with a DD15,on I283 south at the curve before the PA TurnPike. I only had what I had,they made the exception & took the call. PA State Troopers were on scene due to my breakdown & an oversize load needing to come thru so we were on a time crunch. With my engine being a DD15,there are 2 ways to prime the fuel system when u run out. I had super hopes that they brought a fuel priming system,but no. Just 22 gallons in containers in a minivan. 😞 he tried doing what I would do for about 30 minutes,no success. So, PA State Troopers called a tow for me after being patient for the whole time. I got towed & nearly lost my business after the tow becuz I gave my last. But,This was my experience.
