Jiffy Lube Oil Change & Multicare

If "0" was an option I'd happily give it! I had a noise coming from my vehicle, which I informed them of during drop off. He said he would look. They had me waiting forever for an oil change and tire rotation, so I assumed they were working hard to investigate the noise. The manager was young, but very informative & helpful during checkout; however, I asked them did they find out what the noise was and he called the tech who said he forgot. Waited longer for them to check (AFTER I paid for my old change) for him to come back and say it was my transmission. Why on earth would I pay for an oil change to a vehicle that's transmission is badso now you've cost me an unnecessary expense. I made an appointment to a transmission specialist who no only diagnosed the source of the issue being the front differential case, but also said my front rotors, brakes, all 4 tires are horrendous and right front bar link needs immediate replacement! Jiffy lube just completed my inspection & omissions 4/2026 and didn't say a single thing. But to add insult to injury, Jiffy Lube sends me an email this morning stating they have a discount for my needed services and you've guessed itit has the Front & Rear differential case replacements as something my car needs without being thorough with me! They're liars and after taking my vehicle to the specialist and spending an additional $200 for someone else to advise methey knew the entire time! Don't everrrrr take your vehicle there if you value honesty and safety!

I had a great experience at Jiffy Lube (4007 Jonestown Rd, Harrisburg, PA) today. The staff was friendly, professional, and efficient from start to finish. They explained what was needed without any pressure, completed the oil change quickly, and had me back on the road in no time. I really appreciated the clear communication and smooth service. I’ll definitely be returning.

03/07/2026- They broke the interior of my car and then gas lit and lied to me. Including John the manager. They broke the trim piece to install the cabin air filter. Stripped the screw so I can’t fix it and now deny they did it. Spoke with John the manager. He denied it and said it was fine when he worked on it personally. I called to get it rectified John stated, what I can see with my own eyes isn’t true. Now they won’t take my return call. I’ve gone here for oil changes in the past never again. Buyer beware. Very poor customer service. 4 emplyees with only one vehicle being serviced. One kid employee joking and playing with the other employees absolutely ignoring me. I waited approximately one hour and still wasn't approached. Had to ask if anyone was going to help me. Was wanting all 4 brakes replaced and spark plugs serviced. The unprofessional behavior of the team had me rethink Harrisburg Jiffy Lube's services and choose to have my requested services done elsewhere and will also take my oil changes to another company. As a general manager within a separate but local industry I would be highly ashamed of the extremely unprofessional service this young man provided to the point of rethinking his employment. I fully understand distractions, however, when eye contact has been made multiple times over the time frame with only one patron that was being helped, not by him, the transgression became inexcusable. I want nothing offered over my reveiw and certainly will not return.

On 5/13/26 I went to my long time go to oil change business on Jonestown Road for service. When I pulled up I was asked if I want the same type of oil as the last time and I answered “yes please, the exact same”. As I was walking inside a gentleman (Jeremy) asked me if I wanted my tires rotated. My response was no thanks. When my car was done Jeremy was ringing me up and the price was over 33% higher than it was in January. When I asked Jeremy if the oil was the same as last time he said”yes, and then said everything has gone up”. Note, Jeremy never used his computer skills to look at my past service invoice to see what I paid the last time. As I was paying I said that when I get home I’m going to look back at the receipt for the last time. When I got into my car the floors were not vacuumed even though on my invoice it stated that it had been done. When I looked at my receipt it was crystal clear that Jeremy was not being honest about the type of oil that I received. The oil from my January oil change was the Pennzoil gold and the one from 5/13/26 was the Pennzoil platinum. When I called back to speak to Jeremy I asked him if there is a price difference between the Pennzoil Platinum and the Pennzoil gold which he said yes. Then I said that I would like a refund and would be back the very next day. Jeremy responded with “we can only give you a refund if you come back today (5/13/26). I’m not sure why if you knowingly/unknowingly over charged a loyal customer why it couldn’t be handled the next day. My response to Jeremy was that I’m on my way and would like a refund. When I arrived Jeremy was on the phone talking to someone. Being aware of my surroundings I saw that one of the employees was inside the office/cash out office was on the computer then another employee walked in from the baby and asked me what I needed. What happened to me was strange because when I went to initially pay for the oil change I stood there for 8 minutes before anyone came in for me to pay. When Jeremy finished his call he said to me that they can only provide a refund by check mailed from the corporate office. My response was ok, I just would like a refund for what happened. I’m not sure why they couldn’t provide the refund as a credit back to my credit card. The entire situation was disheartening in so many ways. So, they have an employee who can try to upsell me a tire rotation who happens to not know what the prices for an oil change are who also isn’t trained to pull up invoices via the computer to see where a possibly discrepancy could be. Needless to say, I haven’t heard back from anyone as of today. That said, if you decide to have your car serviced here at any point please find out the prices before allowing them to service your car. As for me any my vehicles, we will find another place that can provide services with integrity, fairness and one that can at least say I’m sorry for what happened. To the manager of Jiffy lube, if I were you I would look to retrain Jeremy so that he knows how to interact with customers while not deceiving them and to have an inkling as to how to operate the Jiffy Lube computers. I’m hoping to have this issue resolved ASAP and if the Jiffy Lube company policy is to send refunds for employee mistakes mailed out instead of taking care of it when brought to your attention I suggest reviewing your policy and implement changes.
