Luongo's Towing and Automotive Repair

My vehicle was pushed into a ditch after an incident involving a semi-truck on Route 322. The car was fully drivable and only needed to be pulled out of the ditch. When the tow truck arrived, we explained that the vehicle did not need to be towed and only needed recovery. Despite that, the driver loaded the vehicle onto the flatbed and left before I could retrieve my belongings or discuss other options. The situation happened so quickly that even the responding state trooper appeared surprised. The driver then left us stranded on the side of the road. The trooper ultimately gave us a ride to a nearby Wawa, where I had to arrange transportation to the towing facility myself. I was never given a clear explanation as to why I could not accompany my vehicle. To be fair, the person working at the office was courteous and made the release process relatively smooth once I arrived. However, the overall experience was extremely frustrating. I was charged approximately $350 for a vehicle that only needed to be pulled from a ditch, lost hours of my day, and was left without transportation. To make matters worse, after leaving the facility I witnessed one of the company’s tow trucks driving aggressively and running multiple red lights. Based on my experience, I would not use this company voluntarily and would recommend others understand their options before allowing a vehicle to be removed. Also, record EVERYTHING. Not only did he not chain the car to the flatbed, but he sped off so fast, he left his gloves on top of the vehicle and they flew off in traffic.

After relying on Paul Menta's Sunoco for 30 years for all my auto service it was sudden change to have to find a new service center. I followed John (Menta's mechanic) to Luongo's and was impressed right away. Same family atmosphere that I was familiar with at Menta's. I was only in for an oil change but the tech also did a general look over. No up-selling, just a documented list of things to keep an eye on for the future (my minivan is 10yrs old). Reply Share

These guys really saved the day when my car decided to stop working out of nowhere. They were super professional and took the time to explain exactly what was wrong so I wasn't left guessing. The repair was done pretty quickly, and my car has been running perfectly ever since. I would definitely trust them again if I run into any more trouble on the road.

Completely unprofessional and predatory business practices. They make resolving a vehicle issue an absolute nightmare, specifically by hitting you with hidden fees, shifting goalposts, and demanding cash-only payments while making it as difficult as possible to actually recover your personal property. The customer service is non-existent, and the staff is incredibly difficult and unhelpful to deal with. If your vehicle or property ends up in their hands, expect an uphill battle just to get answers. They show zero respect for people's property or time. Avoid this place at all costs—rely on a reputable company that operates honestly and transparently instead.
