Maximum Auto Inc

Unfortunately Pete doesn’t own the shop anymore. Went for years . Today we had car inspected and oil change. Car needed nothing else . They charged 230$ and when questioned the response was oil went up. It’s a shame bc I wanted to give the new guy business and my entire family used Pete. But no one will be going back.

My girlfriend son take his grandmother car to maximum auto Inc. for an inspection. Due to the low miles driving in the car I should have by law got a discount on my inspections. To make this quick they did an oil change, swaybar link, replaced lightbulbsthat did not need to be replaced. An oil change that did not need to be done. swaybar link that has some wear , but never that I give the consent for them to change it. They did try to reach out over six times calling me in one day and within four hours while I was at work yes no I dropped the car off with all the information for them to call my mother and speak to them about it and they never did and chose to do the work without consent. I just needed it and only had the money to pay for my inspections to get past or fail. I was forced to pay an additional 290 dollars for something that I never approved to get done on the vehicle. I Try to speak to the manager who was about the vehicle, he just started making bunch of excuses, why the charged what they charge and we should of picked up remind you he never called my mother number, and stated saying that they’re not scammers and then we’ve been in business for 50 years and never bring your car back here again. Then when he said you people are crazy, who is you people? I am Puerto Rican, i took it maybe a little wrong bringing in race but that’s how he made me feel by the way he said it. I made my decision I will be consulting with a lawyer to see how else I can get this situation resolved due to the fact that they made me pay the additional 290 dollars for something that I did not ask to get done to the vehicle. I simply took the car in for an inspection whether I failed or not. You should of fail the car if it had all those issues not make me pay for things that I didn’t consent to do and something like an oil change that doesn’t have nothing to do with a state inspection. If they investigate all the receipts for the last five years of all the people that they did work for their and asked to people whether they gave consent for any of other work to be done besides and state inspections I promise you they will find a big surprise that they’ve been scheming people for a really long time 50 years. I recall as the guy said he’s been in business.

I've been going to Maximum Auto for over a decade. The service has always been reliable, reasonable & respectful. Pete & his team do repairs for fair prices and explain what is needed in layman terms. Looking forward to another decade of trustworthy services.

Bought a quality set of tires from Pete at Maximum Auto in late 2012 for my Honda Element. The installation and alignment was perfect. Back again recently for another rotate, balance & alignment. These people know how to provide quality service! Thanks again
