I'm bummed to even have to leave a review like this, because my wife had taken her car here and had gotten great service. I had my pickup truck scheduled to go in yesterday for an inspection and an oil change. I get there at 8am, and no one is there. I hang around until about 830am, and decide to call when no one has shown up yet. Explain who I am, what I'm there for, and that I'll hang out for a bit. I drove down to the wharf to kill some time, and came back to the shop around 9am to see if anyone made it in yet. Still nothing. Front door was locked, garage bays were shuttered. When I knocked on the door no one was there. I took off from work to get this taken care of, so I essentially lost a whole days pay, and then couldn't get it taken care of. This is unacceptable to me, especially when I spoke to the person on the phone, and they took down my name and number when I originally set up the appointment last week. I would have at least hoped for a call if something happened, so I at least wasn't going to miss a day of work for no reason. It's just careless, and my time and money were wasted. Do better guys.

I have been looking for a trustworthy mechanic after taking my car to the dealership for years. I was recommended Patti’s by a friend of mine. Staff was pleasant, knowledgeable, and thoroughly explained what was wrong and how they were going to fix my car. Service was quick — even for a Saturday! Didn’t get charged an arm and a leg either.
