Homestead Truck and Auto

Not sure why my experience was different than everyone else, but this is what it was. I was referred to this place, told they do excellent work. My first walk through the door seemed unwelcomed by the administrative staff, especially the woman in the rear. To me it seemed she was annoyed to have another customer come through the door, or, maybe she's overworked, or maybe I reminded her of someone she doesn't like causing the less welcoming demeanor, although I was respectful and polite. It's confusing to me because the most reviews say they are very professional, but I didn't feel this. I left them the key around 9am so they can diagnose the vehicle, and paid an Uber to get me home. My newly installed tires didn't pass inspection by Jiffy Lube, who referred me to them, because the new tires are just a little too large, so I was wondering if leveling could fix it, or even lifting the truck a few inches. I was told no. They gave me no other suggestions, when there are plenty of other people that have their trucks with bigger tires, I see it all the time. Ok - I'll figure it out. I'll see if maybe getting the truck lifted is a viable option somewhere else, even if they do lifting here, I'll still do it somewhere else since my walk-in here didn't even seem welcomed. And the hours long wait for diagnosis (didn't get a call until several hours later), which was just my truck sitting, waiting for their earliest convenience because they're understandably working on other vehicles and may be understaffed, which probably cost them only a few minutes to look at anyways, cost me around $80 - just to look at it. Glad everyone else had a better experience; don't know why my experience was so different.

Service is excellent, inspection was quick and easy. Helped me decide on the best tires for my liking, and saved me money in the process. Highly recommend.

Great customer service stayed late to make sure my car was done the same day as promised even though it was a more complexed job If you need custom exhaust work this is the place!!!!!!
