I had an extremely frustrating and dishonest experience with a mechanic named Andy. He failed my inspection and claimed I needed new brakes, quoting me $500 for the job. Wanting to be sure, I went to another mechanic for a second opinion, and they confirmed my brakes were completely fine and my car had no issues at all. Despite that, I went ahead and replaced the brakes anyway—only costing me $250, which is half of what Andy tried to charge. I was told I could come back after replacing the brakes and he would pass my inspection. But when I returned, Andy immediately started yelling at me, saying it wasn’t his problem and that he was too busy. It was obvious he was upset that I had the work done somewhere else. I told him I would wait, and while I was there, I overheard him tell another mechanic that he would “take care of my car personally.” He went into the shop briefly and came back out shortly after. When I left, my AC was suddenly blowing hot air—something that was not an issue before. I took my car to another mechanic, who confirmed that the AC compressor had been unplugged. This is not something that just happens on its own—it was clearly tampered with. This experience felt dishonest and unprofessional from start to finish. I strongly recommend staying away from this place. I will be reporting this business to the Better Business Bureau. Literally not even worthy of 1 star

Not really a comment but to all customers that were past customers to shop when Mike (which is me) was there last year or previous times is back in the shop again. Please come see us and let us take care of your vehicle needs. Even older customers that didn't like the service there in the past please feel free to come try us out again.
View on GoogleWould not give me inspection stickers unless the rear shocks were replaced because they were considered old. Although did not have any problems up to that point. They replaced the rear shocks and as soon as I left there there was thumbing noise. Took it back and they said the was nothing wrong with the new shocks. My MPG went from 42 to 30. Replaced them again and found the one that was making the noise was as loose as a pogo stick.
View on GoogleHave gotten my past 4 years of state inspections and associated repairs there; they're not overpriced (..also not discount hacks) and have never had a fuss or complaint. I'm also never in a huge rush for repairs; obtaining parts and making effective repairs to the metal box with wheels I hurtle myself around in is always the priority. In any case, all the work I've had done there has been effective, straightforward, well-within promised timeframes, and reasonably priced.
