I've passed by this small garage for 4 years and decided to bring my vehicle here for service. After an initial misunderstanding, the owner was super helpful, honest and really went above and beyond to help me out. He gets booked up quick!

These guys could have charged me a lot to fix my 2012 Subaru but instead they were honest about the fact that it was probably not worth it. Its not often that you encounter honestly and professionalism like this in any profession - let alone with an auto mechanic.

I don’t really want to share Kevin and Bala Auto with others, but he’s such a great a mechanic I figured everyone should know! He’s been taking care of my cars for many years, and in every instance he’s great at diagnosing the issue, explains what to do, and prices fairly and honestly. Never met a mechanic as wonderful a person as Kevin. You won’t regret bringing in your car.

I brought my Nissan Rogue in because the parking brake wasn’t working properly after another shop replaced the parking brake shoes. That shop told me all three parking brake cables needed to be replaced — which didn’t sit right with me, especially since they only worked on the rear shoes. I decided to get a second opinion, and I’m so glad I met Kevin at Bala. Kevin gave me a much more reasonable diagnosis and quote, saying only one cable needed to be replaced — which made far more sense. He then fixed the issue after a follow-up appointment and walked me through everything in detail. He even drew a diagram to show how the previous shop altered parts to force a fit, which in turn made it difficult to install the new cable correctly. His explanation was incredibly thorough and honest, and I really appreciate his patience. Fixing a car can be frustrating — I’ve often felt like a walking wallet at other shops — but Bala is different. Kevin was respectful, transparent, and clearly takes pride in doing the job right. I just wish I had come here sooner. Highly recommend!
