Goodyear Madison Co Tire In

On 11/3 I took my vehicle in for an inspection. I was able to get the vehicle in asap witch was convenient. However what I found while I was there was less than impressive. An older gentleman (shop manager/owner) nearly never interacted with me. I asked if he could tell me what size break disc was on the vehicle there are two different size options for my vehicle. I was advised to go to auto zone because his shop was unable to complete this task. I also asked if he could educate me on the tire rating system and he seemed less than interested. The shop its self is dingey and limited efforts have been made to keep it clean for customers. My vehicle never actually made it to a lift. I will say though based on customer conversions and appearances this shop likely takes care of its regular clients but is definitely not interested in new customers. I was so dissatisfied that prior to inspections results I called another shop and scheduled an appointment.

I would 100% say 0 star if I could, went there and got all new tires (630$) and the left back fell off as driving off, 0 care from the owner, he offered a oil change for a tire falling off, horrible costumer service. Then proceeded to escort me out. Would never recommend for anything. STAY AWAY

I had purchased new tires at Madison county tire. My first trip on the highway the car vibrated and was shaking. Took the car back and they found that a wheel wasn't balanced properly. That wheel was then rebalanced. I took back in 2 weeks ago to have my tires rotated and balanced. Drove into Columbus and was very difficult to drive due to the shaking and vibration. So I stopped at a tire shop in Columbus. They found all of the tires to be out of balance. So I paid to have all of the tires rebalanced and while I was there I had the front end aligned. Finally my car is driving as it should. Avoid this shop!!

went in on November 1st of 2025 to replace my front tire. The younger gentleman at the front desk was so kind and helpful, very informative and respectful. they suggested me getting two new FRONT tires, i agreed. i come back three hours later after they are ordered and delivered, they replace the two BACK tires. i drove home, noticed, and immediately called back. younger gentleman was very polite and said if i come in the next day it will all get fixed. they fixed the tires free of charge , though after putting tires back on my back wheels(unsure if they used my original tires, or some of their “used” tires) my back passenger tire had a slow leak. took it back in two days later, Rick made some comments about how i was a gorgeous young lady, how attractive i was, and made a “joke” that they kept messing my tires up just so i come back in so they can see me more. the mechanic finished up and said it was a valve stem issue and the tech that worked on my car the last time was new and needed to be better trained. this visit was also free of charge. came back a third time about two weeks later for a slow leak on the same tire. tech took me back and showed me a cracked rim.( i had been filling the tire up to required PSI every time it was driven) i went up front and spoke to Rick, and stated that the back tires were never supposed to be touched, and this issue was not a thing prior to the original visit, at this point, a month prior. he told me this had nothing to do with them and they cant do anything for me, told me i needed to “calm down and not accuse them” (i was completely calm and respectful throughout all four of these visits, though i had lost some patience at this point obviously lmao). kept repeating it was not their fault/they had absolutely nothing to do with this issue. he was real quick to jump up and tell the mechanic to put fix-a-flat on the crack to “fix” the issue, and "assured" me the fix a flat would be free of charge. even when the mechanic said that will do nothing. about a month later i had bought a new rim and called MCT to ask if they had used tires in my specific size. Rick was VERY rude over the phone, told me they had my size and hung up. i came in and bought the used tire from them- was planning on having the tire+ rim put on by someone else. i told him that i would not have them put the tire on and that i was just buying the tire, and he immediately changed his attitude towards me saying he "really wouldnt suggest doing that" and "you should just have us do the work". took me to the garage area and explained to the tech that was walking me back to the tire, and said “yea this is the lady that called earlier about the stupid trie size. shes making a mistake by not having us put the tire on, but she’ll explain it to you.” and ushered me away. the other mechanic not related to MCT said he did not feel comfortable putting this tire on in good conscience because of the tire being cracked all along the outside, very deep. real disappointed; had gone to MCT once about two years ago and had an awesome experience. newer to the area but am connected to some locals that have been here for a while/have been serviced by this place multiple times, most people seem to really suggest this place. this time it was the exact opposite. not to mention Ricks "humor" to specifically females is very uncomfortable. its either commenting on looks/appearance, making jokes about how HIS looks or appearance (had asked me before if he looks good in certain glasses and said i was just “begging” for a discount or cut of the price”+ a lot more uncomfortable comments) or completely belittling until a man is standing behind you. super weird and uncomfortable! if youre not a man, or a regular client, stay FAR away from this place. dont waste your time or money or expect an ounce of decency with their customer service if youre dealing with Rick.

Women beware. The owner called me about the second time my car was back in for redo repairs that either weren't done at all like an alignment or were not done properly. He was slurring his words and actually hitting on me. I was in shock on the phone. I tried redirecting him twice before he finally ended the call. Now I see other Google reviews where women have had the same unpleasant interactions with Rick, the owner. I felt sick after speaking with him. He should be ashamed of himself.
