Chesrown Chevrolet GMC Service and Parts Center

I leased a Chevy Blazer EV about 6 months ago, and recently I started getting a “High Voltage Battery” warning on the dashboard. The mobile app also suggested that the vehicle needs servicing. I first contacted the Chevrolet dealership in Delaware, OH, since it is the closest to me. Unfortunately, my experience there was very disappointing. They told me the earliest appointment available was 3–4 weeks out. When I asked whether it was safe to drive the vehicle with a high-voltage battery warning, they said they didn’t know and could not provide any guidance, and instead asked me to contact GM directly. This lack of support, especially for a potentially serious issue, felt very unprofessional. After that, I reached out to ricart chevrolet service, 2589 billingsley rd, columbus, oh, and the experience was completely different. They handled everything very professionally and were able to get me an appointment promptly. The service representative, was excellent—very courteous, knowledgeable, and thorough. He carefully documented all my concerns and managed the case efficiently.

Advisors need to be trained on warranty claims. Was in for warranty work on my CPO 2022 Silverado. The advisor argued with me multiple times that it was out of warranty. I knew it wasn’t but finally got tired of arguing. Called Chevrolet and sure enough, it’s still under warranty. This is the 2nd time I’ve had issues with service at Chesrown.

Super friendly advisors. Liked the drive in service lane. You drop off and pick up indoors. They have food and beverages available for free. I love it when people care about their craft. It shows at Chesrown

All I needed was an oil change. Got there 20 minutes early for appointment, but still watched while my car sat in the service area 25 minutes before I asked the service tech how much longer, whi replied it's been done. 🙄😕👎

I have had several poor experiences at Chesrown with their service department and will do my best to find help elsewhere in the future. It's frustrating, because it is the most convenient place for me, but I can't continue there. I have had issues with lack of response on how service was going on two separate occasions in the past two years where I was told the car would be ready in a day or two that turned into a week on both occasions. I have had to bring it back in within a month to fix issues with leaking fluids that were not fixed the first time. I had an issue with billing where I would have paid almost $200 dollars over what I should have been charged if I hadn't spoken up for myself. To his credit, the service manager was quick to fix it and apologetic, but it seemed poor that I had to bring up the issue or else I would have just had to pay it. Most recently, I brought the car in for an oil change and a minor routine maintenance repair with replacing spark plugs and they found an issue with the ignition coil. $600 later, the attendant pulled my fixed car up to return it to me, and the service warning light was on because the rear driver's side tire still needed air. I knew that when I dropped it off and just assumed the little stuff like that would be fixed as well. Just fill it up. I received a service report showing that a multi-point inspection had been performed and that all the basic things had been checked as good to go. I couldn't believe someone would literally drive my "repaired" car to me out of the shop with a service light still on! And for air in the tires! That should be the easiest thing to fix. The lack of attention to detail is too much for me, and I will not be back if I can help it. Don't know exactly where I'm going to go, but I'll drive farther to get better service.
