Byers Ford Service Center

We left my vehicle with the service enter for replacement of the torque converter. Two weeks later, it was to be ready for us to pick up. On the day of the planned pickup, we were informed that while the mechanic had the vehicle out for the post-service test drive, he wrecked it. He reportedly put it in a ditch to avoid hitting a stopped car. The car was totaled. I was told that day by a worker at the dealership that things would be “made right” with me. What actually occurred was that we were told by the GM & Ford corporate office to go through our insurance & even though the dealership had access to a plethora of used vehicles, no offer was made to give us a comparable vehicle as a replacement for my destroyed vehicle. (2020 Edge Titanium, fully loaded, great condition & was paid off). In the end, we ended up with a new loan/car payment. So much for “making things right” with me. We will not be returning to Byers Ford. I gave a one star rating only because my comments wouldn’t otherwise save. In response to “Owner” posted response: Who do I ask for? Update (2/09/2026): I called Byers & spoke with the very pleasant lady who took the call and she said she would let the person who responded to my post know that I had called & have him call me. That was months ago. I received no follow up phone call. 4/21/2026 Hello. I am just now seeing your response. I appreciate you commenting, however, I’m not sure what it would accomplish for me to again reach out to the dealership. The damage cannot be undone and the lack of an offered resolution, in the way of a replacement vehicle to compensate me for the destruction of my vehicle I owned, has not been forgotten. The dealership has had my contact information all along and has yet to reach out to address my concerns in this post. That tells all I need to know.

I had a great experience with the service department at Byers Ford in Delaware, Ohio. From scheduling my appointment to picking up my vehicle, everything was handled professionally and efficiently. The service advisors were friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to clearly explain what work was needed and why. The work was completed on time, communication was excellent throughout the process, and I never felt pressured into unnecessary services. The service area was clean and well-organized, and it was clear that the technicians take pride in their work. If you’re looking for a dependable, honest, and customer-focused service department, I highly recommend Byers Ford in Delaware. I’ll definitely be returning for future maintenance and repairs.

First time at this location. Had an excellent experience. The service Tech was very nice and professional. Carson was thorough in his responses to my questions. They were quick and efficient. Wish all dealerships were this customer focused!

Great experience, way better than that Ford dealer in Dublin that won't talk to you without a huge payment. Sly was informative and kept me updated the entire time. On Sunday when I dropped it off one of the sales guys (Sorry I forgot your name) walked around with me answering all my questions about the other vehicles. Great experience, I will be back.
