I called The Right Place Automotive about a windshield wiper issue and spoke with Mickey. Even though they could have easily taken my car in for paid work, he took the time to explain that GM has a recall on the wiper transmission and advised me to go to the dealership for a free repair instead. That level of honesty is rare and says a lot about their integrity. I haven’t had work done there yet, but based on this experience alone, they’ll be the first place I call in the future. Highly recommend.

I had a great experience with Mickey and the team at The Right Place Automotive, and I just have to share it. My wife’s older Volvo started leaking coolant, so I took a quick look and noticed it was running down the engine and pooling under the timing cover. I couldn’t pinpoint the exact source, but I figured it was probably the water pump. With the car’s mileage, I thought it’d also be smart to replace the timing belt and tensioners while we were at it. I gave Mickey a call because I knew I could trust him and his crew. Even though it meant driving over an hour to get there, I didn’t hesitate. When I dropped the car off, Mickey called me with an update. It turns out the issue wasn’t the water pump after all, but a bleed line that had rubbed against something and developed a hole. He even sent me photos of the problem so I could see it for myself. What really impressed me was that Mickey could’ve just fixed the original issue, charged me what he quoted, and called it a day. But instead, he explained everything to me and told me the repair would be cheaper than expected if we just wanted to replace that line. After talking it over, I decided to go ahead with the original repairs (knowing the timing belt was on borrowed time and waterpump likley was as well) and replace the bleed line. They finished the work on time and even came in under the original estimate. On top of all that, Mickey also let me know about a couple of outstanding Volvo recalls that needed to be taken care of. He also mentioned that, since I do some of my own maintenance, the spark plugs might need replacing soon. It’s little things like that which really show how much Mickey cares about his customers. I can’t recommend The Right Place Automotive enough. Mickey’s honesty, attention to detail, and willingness to go the extra mile really make them stand out. If you’re looking for a trustworthy shop that does great work, this is the place.

This place is amazing! And Mickey is awesome! One of my church members recommended them to me. Brought my wife's car in because it was leaking transmission fluid. They initially thought they would need a radiator replacement. The quote was $1,971. Mickey called me back and said they were able to just repair it for $437. Then when I got there he only charged me $420. My wife literally cried tears of joy. I couldn't be more grateful for Mickey's honesty and compassion. I am overjoyed and will never go to another shop again before I go here. And I am recommending them to everyone I know.
