I was honestly a little skeptical at first because I saw some one-star reviews, and I’ve had a bad experience with Jiffy Lube before, so I’m careful about where I take my vehicle for service. After reading more reviews, I noticed this location is under new management and is no longer operating as Jiffy Lube, so we decided to give Planet Oil Change Centers of Columbus a shot. I’m glad we did. We came in for a transmission flush and had the rest of our vehicle fluids topped off, except for the oil, and the service was solid. They were helpful, professional, and took care of exactly what we needed. As a business owner myself, I understand how much reviews matter. Reviews can really affect whether someone decides to use a company or not, so I respect seeing the new owner actively responding to older bad reviews, even ones from before he owned or managed the business. That shows accountability and effort. Our experience did not match the negative reviews we were concerned about. Based on our visit, this place deserves a fair shot under the new management. If you’re in Columbus, Ohio and need a transmission flush, fluid top-off, oil change service, or general vehicle maintenance, I would recommend giving Planet Oil Change Centers of Columbus on E Livingston Ave a chance.
