Nick was amazing!!! My car broke down after hours on Friday night and had to be towed to dealer. I am a new customer Andi called on Saturday morning to explain that I am a full time college student and work two part time jobs and I needed a car or my car fixed asap please. He was able to provide a loaner car for me but when I went to pick it up to my surprise my car was already fixed and ready to go!! This was on a Saturday when they had limited techs and were already full of appointments. Nick was the best and helping me out me ensuring I didn’t lose any time at work or school. I definitely will be a repeat customer! Thank you to Nick and the service team at Mark Wahlberg Chevy!!

We dropped our Blazer off Thursday morning (literally before the sun came up). It’s now almost 1pm on Saturday and they haven’t even LOOKED at our vehicle yet. We are a two vehicle family (because we work on opposite sides of the city AND have a child in daycare) and absolutely needed this turned around in a timely manner. No loaner has been offered, only a pathetic discount on a rental. What’s the point in making an appointment, if the vehicle isn’t even looked at at that point. The lack of care and concern alone is absolutely appalling. The ZERO communication between 7:15am on Thursday until today at noon when my husband physically went in to check on it (after being on a 35min hold on the phone) is enough to make us never return to this Chevy dealership for service. This vehicle will be the last one purchased and serviced with Wahlberg. Absolutely pathetic. Edit: It’s now Monday after 6pm and zero news, zero update and zero attempt to offer a loaner. Edit: Vehicle finally looked at on Tuesday at 1pm. No ETA offered for when it’ll be ready (warranty work), even though it’s been asked for. Edit: As of Friday at 4:20pm, ZERO communication from the dealership. They’re ignoring all requests for a status update. No loaner car has ever been offered. They’ve have our vehicle for over a week now. Ridiculous. Edit: Finally received an update in the form of an unprofessional text (person attempting to gain sympathy for their personal life impacting their ability to communicate at work). Started the parts came in “late last week” and that “they were just waiting for a bay to open up to get everything installed “. It’s now end of day with again, surprise surprise, ZERO updates or actual ETA on when our vehicle will be ready. To be crystal clear, our vehicle was dropped off at 7:05am on Thursday, March 12th. It is now 5:30pm on Monday, March 23rd. We have only had two haphazard, unprofessional communication attempts from the service department in this timeframe.

I purchased my 2025 Equinox EV here in February 2025. That part was a GREAT experience. I loved the dealership & the professionalism we were met with. It was very warm and comforting (in what is often a stressful and difficult experience, buying a vehicle). Dwayne, our salesman, was awesome. I went in to purchase a different vehicle I had seen on the site, but after test drives and price comparisons, ended up upgrading and getting a loaded blacked-out RS vs the red LT I was initially looking for. Just an overall great experience with the sales team. Just before Christmas, I was involved in a fender-bender - devastating but not the end of the world; it could have been a lot worse. A couple days later, all communication stopped in the car (OnStar, GPS, mobile app, remote start, self-driving, a lot of SiriusXM channels, etc.). I wasn't sure if that was related to the accident or not, but I wanted to take care of the "electronic" part before the body work and doing the back/forth with the other guy's insurance, etc. I also had 2 open recalls, one for the tires, one for the "engine" sound not being loud enough to meet federal guidelines. I made an appointment online before Christmas. They immediately called me and explained that it would take 1-3 days to diagnose the problem, and if I kept my existing appointment it would just sit over the holiday, and to make the appointment for the 29th so they'd have 3 days before New Year's and I could get my car back. They refused to give a loaner, telling me they're booked out for months. I took my car in at 7:30am on Monday the 29th for a 7:45 "drop off" appointment. I didn't hear anything by Wednesday, so I texted the number for status updates. They told me it hadn't been looked at yet, but they'd know something by Friday (closed Thurs. for the holiday) and let me know. Friday, I don't get an update and ask for an update. They told me that it was in the bay being looked at and they should know something by Monday "at the absolute latest". Monday I asked for an update. They ghosted me. Tuesday they told me that they got a diagnosis late Monday night and it *should* be ready for pickup by the end of the day, but they were still handling the recall problems. Nothing else, never told me it was done. I told them today that I NEED to have my car back, they've had it for 10 days now (7 of which they were open) for a quoted 1-3 day diagnosis. This isn't even fixing the problem, the part they need takes a good month to come in. They then gaslight me, saying they said the car was ready yesterday, that they clearly stated that - when the last update I got was that it "should be done by end of day, but they're still working on the recall". I now have no recourse but to trust these idiots to implement the fix they found when the module eventually comes in...and we'll see how many weeks I'm without a car for the "one day repair". STAY FAR AWAY from this service center if you have an EV. I will be going anywhere BUT Wahlberg in the future. I love this car, but it's really making me resent the purchase after being treated like this for what should be a simple warranty & recall investigation...and I haven't even tackled the accident damage yet. I will be taking it elsewhere for the body work (not that I could go here anyway, they don't have a body shop, you have to go to the High Street Wahlberg location for that...who then sends it back to this one for sensor calibration).

I travel for work and run our Midwest field operations. I had an unfortunate break down and would have been better off having my truck towed back to Nappanee Indiana to have a qualified team work on my truck. The service tech wouldn't respond at all on what was the problem with my truck. I had to drive four and a half hours to see them in person to finally get my quote and get the ball rolling. I was out for a rental and hotel for an extended period of time. With my position I cant recommend this dealership simply because of the service department. We will be looking to expand our fleet for our field staff and will definitely look elsewhere.

Brought my equinox in to fix a leak in my trunk and replace a broken sunroof motor. Initial diagnostic and repairs took 3 days. Came in to get my car, drove down to the first light headed east on 161 and came back as my sunroof was not opening with a one-touch button as it did before. Was told it needed to be reprogrammed and would take 15 mins. 3 hrs later, I was told the motor died that was replaced and needed to be replaced again. Left my car over the weekend and came back on Monday after paying for a secondary motor. Fast forward 2 days, it poured rain and found water inside my car again, after paying to clean the drain holes and advise the leak was fixed. Brought my car back a second time. I reached out 5 days later, was told the sunroof seal was damaged and needed to be replaced. Paid for the seal AND labor a second time.. even though I paid labor and diagnostic the first time when I was told the drain was clogged and caused a leak. Service advisor did wave the second diagnostic fee, which felt right but I’m not satisfied that I had to bring my car back twice after initial diagnostic and payed for labor 2x.
