I'm extremely happy with the work they did (on 2015 corolla) 4 months ago! They replaced the rear axle beam, added two new rear bearing hubs with cabling and did an alignment to verify wheels line up properly. This cleared up my brake and skid control dash lights. My car hasn't run this good since before my accident occurred! Their responsiveness, communication, knowledge and attention to detail is great, and cost is much cheaper than Toyota dealership quoted for the job.

Everyone at J Auto Repair is nice but doesn’t make up for their lack of professionalism. They forgot to work on my car for a simple oil change and check the AC for four hours when I had made an appointment. When I showed up due to worried I hadn’t gotten a call, they promised to work on it quickly. They attempted to charge me for AC repair when it wasn’t done and it wasn’t until I asked what the findings were that it came out it wasn’t done. Now I’m without AC and wasted half a day.

Took my van in and specifically asked to check the fuses and they instead told me the van was ready and told me the same exact thing as what my dash screen said. Then they handed me the keys without even putting the plastics back on in the engine bay. The manager said he’d personally look at it and refunded me for the check since a new guy didn’t relay the message but wasted 2 hours of my time. If they can’t even put the plastic pieces on how the hell am I supposed to trust them to actually work on it. I feel sorry for the owner because he was polite and I’ve heard great things about him.

Took my car here because of the good reviews and come to find out they took advantage of me. They didn't actually look at my vehicle as they said they only went off what another shop had told me and I had given this information when I called. I gave what codes were shooting off as well. They said they would need to take a look at it themselves to be sure, after paying $50 for them to look at it which was just them hooking up a machine. They recommended the tune up as they other shop had done so I had the tune up done and was charged $263.00 for a partial tune up. My car continued to have the same issue. They only changed my sparkplugs but didn't change the coils. After returning again for the same issue they advised that I should have one fuel injector changed and charged me another $60 however they never actually looked at the fuel injectors. When I took my car to the dealer ship they were able to confirm it. My car was never taken apart to see if the injectors were bad. Why recommend to change one and not all? As a woman it sucks to be taken advantage of like this. I truly trusted these guys and was hoping I could always return with any future issues that may arose but when you don't know much about cars this is what happens. However my lesson is learned and I will not return nor recommend this shop to any of my friends and family. My advice is to do better! People need a shop

My first initial repair with the shop was a rusted hard brake line & after the repair worked great. The before and after was incredible actually. My second repair was I got a tune-up done and now my car runs almost like new again especially with it being an older car. It was done in a timely fashion with great communication and the prices are really reasonable as well. Highly recommend!!!
