ER Autocare Upper Arlington

Everyone was very friendly & informative. Very clean & awesome waiting area. This can make or break having to sit here for hours! Snacks, Coca-Cola, waters, cookies, etc. were an awesome addition. Women’s tampons and pads, as well as mouthwash is provided in the bathroom which not everyone does. Easy to find, easy to park. I appreciate the small things like this! Thank you for the great service!

I appreciate the quality repairs and exceptional customer service at ER. As a former auto repair shop owner myself, I listened closely and watched carefully to the way this shop operates. They are the real deal. Very professional and genuinely interested in their customers satisfaction. It's sometimes hard to find a auto repair service that is this good at a reasonable price without the merry -go- round the dealership put you through. I comfortably trust ER to service my vehicles.

I have had only great transactions at ER Autocare! They got me in for a brake issue and got me out of there and driving on the same day! Any emergency I’ve had with cars, they have been able to take care of it quickly and without me spending an arm and a leg. I would recommend ER Autocare for any emergencies that pop up with your car to get you driving again!

My vehicle was in this shop from August 4, 2025, through January 23, 2026. On January 23, I made an unannounced visit to check on the status of my car and was treated in a disrespectful and unprofessional manner. When I requested an invoice, I was told by the manager, Lucas, to pick up my car by 5:00 PM that same day. He accused me of attempting to steal from the shop and refused to provide any invoice. I was also called a liar and accused of intentionally bringing my vehicle in with pre-existing issues. This accusation is especially unreasonable given that your business is an auto repair shop, and I brought my vehicle in specifically because my turbo had failed. I drove the car to your shop late at night at a very low speed (under 10 mph) solely to have it repaired. Additionally, Lucas informed me that I was no longer welcome at the shop, that they would refuse future service, and that any warranty was no longer valid. Due to the situation, I contacted Upper Arlington Police to keep the peace while retrieving my vehicle. Although officers arrived after 5:00 PM (around 5:12 PM), I had already taken possession of my car. I have saved text messages between Officer Harms and myself regarding ER Auto. Nine days later, my car broke down on the highway, with oil leaking on the engine... I then contacted my bank to dispute the charges. On February 9, Lucas called me asking why I was requesting a refund and stated that they would fix the car if I explained the issue. so I took it back to get fixed. I was later informed on February 13 that my vehicle was ready from ER. On April 13, I took my vehicle to Germain Volkswagen of Columbus (1495 Auto Mall Dr, Columbus, OH 43228) for an oil change and diagnostic inspection. Due to the poor condition of the repairs, they refused to service my vehicle. They reported that the engine had been installed incorrectly, with numerous missing components and parts being improperly secured with clamps, creating unsafe and unacceptable conditions. Additionally, Germain Volkswagen of Columbus advised me that I need to return the vehicle to your shop so that the missing parts can be properly reinstalled and the engine can be correctly installed according to manufacturer standards. I will say that at the beginning of this experience, the shop was great. Lucas was kind, helpful, and appeared to be doing everything he could to get my car repaired. However, by the end of the process, my vehicle was in worse condition than when it first arrived—despite being told it had a “new” engine, new turbo, timing belt, and water pump installed. The interior has also been affected, with the driver-side plastic now coming loose and falling apart. More concerning, the car is currently in such poor condition that the dealership has deemed it unsafe to even perform a basic oil change. Overall, I have very mixed feelings about ER Auto. However, after spending $10,641.00, I should not be experiencing these kinds of serious issues.

Came here for the online reviews. And they didn’t disappoint. Nic communicated the whole time and let me decide what I wanted done to have a safe car on the road! As a woman that is important.
