Budget Auto Fix

I paid $125 for a diagnostic because my 2017 Toyota Camry was shutting off. I specifically asked multiple times whether they were sure the battery was the cause because I did not believe the symptoms pointed to a battery issue. I was repeatedly assured that the battery was the problem. The very next day, I returned because the issue had not been properly resolved. Instead of the battery, I was suddenly presented with a completely different diagnosis and an estimate of over $1,000 for a fuel pump repair. My question was simple: if the fuel pump was the issue, why wasn’t that identified during the diagnostic service I had just paid for the day before? From the beginning, the entire experience left me frustrated and without confidence in the diagnostic process. When I returned with questions about why the diagnosis had changed so quickly, I felt that my concerns were dismissed instead of properly addressed. Rather than receiving a clear explanation, I was told that for $125 they were not going to spend an hour checking everything on the car. That response was disappointing because I was never asking for a complete inspection of the entire vehicle. I paid for a diagnosis of a specific problem: my car shutting off. As a customer, I expected the diagnostic process to focus on the possible causes of that symptom and identify the most likely issue before recommending repairs. I would not recommend this shop to someone who is not knowledgeable about cars and is relying on a mechanic to provide honest guidance and quality service. I expected clear communication, a thorough diagnosis, and professionalism when asking reasonable questions. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

I already knew what was broken in my car and asked on the phone if they can fix that. They said yes. Then after laying the tow company they gave me a number for of 90$ they charged me 135 $ for a 'diagnostic'. I thought this was the initial checking damages for the evap purge port and checking it out. No. It was for them to make a list of unrelated things that needed to be fixed. All through this website. NO ONE CALLED ME. No one spoke to me. I already looked up the part and even the kit version that the 2013 chevy cruise will need. About 125 to perhaps 150$. They tried to charge me...900$ for this part. For a 2013 car. They weren't even ATTEMPING to work with me. So I decline everything through their little app and got a different tow to pick my car back up. Only then after I called about making the 125$ payment I was scammed to agree too did the person ask why I decide not to go with them. Would you pay for a 150$ part for 900$ on a 2013 car???? Then he said they would take the part if I ORDERED it and do it and I said no thank you. If you cared, you would've called when you saw how astronomical the price was. But no. You probably thought I was some naive woman who you can scam for money. And the tow guy said they DROVE my car out smoking to the tow, and he so was concerned he told us. And there was new damages on my car THEY never responded to. Do not bother with this place.

This garage deserves 10 stars ⭐️. The people there are amazing. As a customer the service was exceptional. Was very hot and the owner offered me a cold beverage. The real MVP👏🏽🙌🏽. I came in to get my breaks and rotors done. Had me in and out under 2 hours. The pricing was better than anywhere else I could find. Shout out to Askari Motorsports I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else.if you want good service with experienced technicians that know what they are doing, come here you’ll be satisfied 😁😁😁😁. Very grateful this shop. The receptionist was extremely welcoming and she had a calming presence. I’m new to the area and they helped me with a transmission issue quickly and they kept me up to date through their messaging system. Thank you Budget auto fix I’m glad you’re apart of the community.
