I came in for a mirror replacement (with parts already supplied) and simply asked for clarification about the labor estimate because the printed quote listed 1.6 hours while I had been verbally told the job would take 1 hour. Instead of explaining the discrepancy, I was immediately met with a defensive, raised tone and told to “take my car elsewhere.” When I calmly clarified that I was just trying to understand the quote before agreeing to the work, the interaction became even more hostile, ending with the mechanic exclaiming “Well I took offense.” Customers should be able to ask reasonable questions about pricing without being spoken to aggressively or made to feel belittled. Really disappointing and uncomfortable experience.
