I can’t emphasize enough how great this place is. Derrick The Wheel Doctor shows a level of care and precision that I’ve never seen before at any other shop. I had a tire repair and wheel balance done here. When I was first quoted a price it sounded high, and it is more expensive than other shops, but after watching Derrick work and seeing the results I felt like I was undercharged. Derrick is a consummate professional and treats your car like it’s his own. He takes his time to make sure everything is absolutely perfect and meticulously covers every detail.

I came to this tire service center to have a new set of Michelins mounted, and this is hands down the best wheel/tire experience I've ever had. This is the only shop in the area that uses true touch-less tire equipment, which means zero risk of scratching or damaging your wheels. On top of that, the owner Derek road-force balances every setup, a huge deal for anyone who actually cares about how their car drives. I'm extremely detail-oriented when it comes to work being done on my car, and Derek impressed even me. The love he has for his craft shows immediately. This shop is NOT for a customer who wants a job done cheap and half-assed. Derek takes his time, explains everything and makes sure the job is done to perfection. The amount of care he puts into every step is worth every penny from start to finish. If you care about your expensive wheels, your ride quality, or just want work done by someone who genuinely takes pride in what they do this is the only place you should be going. Highly recommend

Derick is absolutely a Dr of Wheels... My car had such a vibration that was almost unbearable.. But after the 3 1/2 hrs of him and his meticulous work he got it done and now all is good in the world. Welp, I knew of this location back in 2012 when it was a relatively new shop. With that said, fast forward 13-14 years, and he's even more detail-oriented than he was back then. Shows you printouts, explanations, how tight the tolerances are on his work compared to a "new" wheel. Literally everything an enthusiast is looking for. My Golf R has been through two road force balances, a warranty replacement tire, a new rim because another guy said they couldn't fix it, and countless return trips, all because it would vibrate and shimmy at random times around 75-80 mph. Sadly, that new rim was the only one Derick said was perfect. Around 4 hours hanging out at Derick's shop got my car driving factory perfect. The NYC pothole tax hit me extra hard this year! He's not the cheapest by any means, but pay once, cry once. You want "good enough" go elsewhere. You want precision work, pay the extra money for Derick. He's worth every cent.

I called Derek after reading numerous positive reviews and explained to him how I replaced all my brakes and rotors on my 2021 Lexus IS350 Fsport and still had a minor steering wheel vibration on the highway. I decided to replace all 4 tires with Michelin Pilot Sport AS at a different shop as well, which actually made the vibration worse. Within 5 minutes on the phone, we were both cracking small jokes while he remained extremely patient and didn’t try rushing me off the phone. I brought my Lexus in the next day and was impressed by how detail-oriented he was. First thing I noticed, he removed my lug bolts with some type of protector on the socket so the paint wasn't damaged. He ended up repairing 2 bent wheels and showed me with the road force balance machine how terribly out of balance my tires were (and exactly where the wheels were bent). But he didn't just balance my tires; he ran them on the RF machine multiple times to balance them as perfectly as possible, even after the machine showed they were balanced in the "green." I ended up going to get food while he continued to work on my wheels and went through Google reviews to figure out why he wasn't rated 5 stars. No surprise, the people who rated him poorly never even had work done at this shop, just wanted to troll online. Derek and his shop deserve 5 stars, and Google should remove the negative reviews left by losers with nothing better to do. Derek explained to me every little imperfection on my wheels, answered all of my questions, and most importantly, fixed the vibration I was experiencing. If you're a perfectionist with your car, do yourself a favor and bring it here.
