I was hopeful that they could correct the reason why my 2022 vehicle is on its 4th pair of tires. I went there for tires and an alignment. My car was just serviced by my personal mechanic and after doing the brakes and noticing that the front left tire was bare on the inside, he explained that the camber needed to be adjusted during an alignment, He told me what needed to be done and sent me a photo. He said the skid plate needed to be removed and it needed to be adjusted to specific measurements to correct the problem. Unfortunately, even though he’s well experienced on alignments, he doesn’t have the machine because he works out of his home. I showed the photo of the camber that needed to be adjusted to the mechanic and told me he would do it. I watched the entire alignment. I did not see the skid plate removed and I questioned the mechanic if the adjustment was done. Specifically saying, was the camber in the photo I showed you, corrected? Of course, I got a yes. When I showed my mechanic the print out, he said according to the measurements it was not corrected and the inside tire wearing will continue. What a disappointment in service and honesty. A disregard for the problem that I have been experiencing. How could I have been any more clear? This guy just lied. This was at the Mahopac Falls location.

He's an excellent mechanic whi knows his stuff. He does not over charge or try to rip you off with a bad job. I was paying thousands at Mavis and had no idea they were making my car very unsafe. He pointed out all the wrong they were doing with my car, like using actual nails to hold together stuff under my car. He gives me confident in driving my car.

I brought the car in because of a check engine light and some freon leak. The mechanic lifted the car and he was showing me where the leak was and he was on the phone getting the price for the part, when the owner came and snapped at me for being in the shop, telling me that i’m not supposed to see what is wrong with my car and that i should be in the waiting area instead. Then he got mad and basically told me to get lost. Unprofessional and rude, stay away from this shop.

I go here regularly for oil and filter change and NY State inspection. Their prices are reasonable and they do good work. I recommend this business.
