The Winwood Condos

The Winwood Condos and The Outpost are operated through/in relation with the Windham Mountain Resort. Both are at the same physical location with The Outpost featuring recently renovated but smaller (normal) rooms, whereas the Condos offer a kitchenette and generally more square footage in the available suites. While the fit/finish of the Condos is a bit dated, they are clean and well kept overall. My personal preference is a two bedroom suite at the condos, as I prefer to have room to spread out and enjoy chilling after a hearty day on the slopes. As a result of the Windham Mountain Resort relationship, guests have guaranteed admission lift tickets, at a reduced price on busy weekends. Shuttle service is top notch, and the driver's voluntarily give you their number to help you get where you need to go. They never ask, but don't be cheap and do tip them for excellent service. I've been skiing Windham for years, and have noticed a growing pool ot options for lodging at different levels of kuxury and price. While the condos are far from luxury, they do offer the most space of all area lodging options. And sticker kitchenettes with range tops & microwave are very family friendly for quick meals when you'd rather spend time skiing than restauranting for breakfast. That said I sorely miss the onsite Mexican restaurant that went away a few years ago, and hope they bring it back. The reception area now offers cocktails/drinks and a fireplace with plenty of room to sit. There is no continental breakfast, but they do have free coffee/tea and fruit in the mornings. Hickory Hill Market is right next door, and very convenient for quick meals, fruit, pantry goods, snacks, or basic staples when you're far from home.

My first time staying here and I have to say one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. They said that the lobby where the fireplace and coffee were at would be open 24/7. Not so much doors locked the next day and day after. Tried to check out and no one was there. Wasn’t impressed at all. Actually very disappointed with the establishment.

We got a 1 bedroom with a pull out couch in the living room for 3 guests. The mini fridge worked well, the stove was nice. Only a pop up toaster. Coffee maker was convenient. The pull out bed was extremely uncomfortable. We are happy we only stayed one night. The person who slept on the pull out could not get comfortable. The bars underneath were felt right through the bed. The pillows were nice and the sheets were okay, but overall we wouldn't stay here again. Oh and the wifi sucks. They did allow us a late check out though

I had a horrible experience here. We were so excited for this trip, and all the pictures of the hotel looked so nice, the room that my family and friends got was a presidential suite. A two bedroom room with two bathrooms, a kitchen and a little living area with a pull out couch so it was meant for 5 or 6 people. But the first night there we had a an ant infestation, which we ignored and they took care of but it definitely made us feel a little uncomfortable and it made us question about this place. Then we slept fine and the next day we came back from skiing at Windham and everything was going well until my daughter and my niece were hearing weird sounds coming from the wall in their bedroom. We see a little arm coming out of a hole from behind our nightstand, we started taking videos because there was an animal somewhere in this place. We were concerned and called the front desk, they let us change our room but everything was so chaotic we had to pack our bags and we had to leave into a smaller room. We had food in the fridge that we had to pack and throw out because our other room had no kitchen. we talked to the manager and you wouldn’t believe the nasty comments she gave me and my family. Giving us racial comments and calling us greedy for the money that we want back. And it wasn’t only those animal infestation we had but it’s also problems with the hot water randomly in the shower. we would be showering with steaming, hot water and then freezing cold water, leaving us with burnt skin. They refunded us some of our money, but not the full refund for two nights and two rooms.

We stayed here for two nights while in town for a wedding down the road. I was pleasantly surprised and thought the room and the building was nicer than the pictures I had seen online. The room was spacious, updated, and clean. We have two infants so the thick blackout shades were perfect for nap times too. The best part by far was the pool across the street, it was SO warm and we had so much fun.
