Very disappointed. Took my car here to be looked over because I had standing water on the floorboards. I was told my heater core was bad and I needed to spend a couple thousand to get it fixed. They then said they would contact me back when they found one of their garages that could do it. I was never contacted again and when I did call, I was given the run around. I got it into my regular mechanic after a month of driving it in the heat with no coolant loss or overheating, just reoccurring standing water. I was told to ac drain was clogged. It was fixed, at no cost, and I was sent happily on my way. Monroe never even looked at my car and I know that because there was no coolant leak whatsoever. This is AFTER giving them a second change when they ZIP TIED my husband's new fuel filter and lines to the old one leaving it hanging down so it ripped back out. DO NOT GO HERE. WORST MECHANICS IN SYRACUSE

I had a very unsafe experience at Monro on Onondaga Boulevard. I dropped off my car for a heater repair and mentioned that my battery light was on. After repairs, I was allowed to leave, and within minutes my vehicle lost power steering, ABS, and dashboard functions because the serpentine belt was missing. I was stranded for hours in dangerous winter conditions. The shop also charged for parts I likely didn’t need and inaccurately recorded that I declined an alternator. I no longer feel my vehicle is safe and am requesting a full review and refund. This was a serious safety issue that should not have happened.

They got me in right away and diagnosed the problem. I had problems with my sensor and wheel bearings. The price was fair and they were able to do the work same day. Only complaint I could make is it would’ve been nice if they would’ve updated me at different points because it took many hours more than they had anticipated. I would recommend them and I will come back.

Austin at Monro was great. He worked with me to schedule two cars for inspection in one day. The thoroughness of the process and the inspections could not be beat. The entire process and workflow from scheduling to inspection to pick up and getting the second car done was great and allowed me to get a lot of work done in a short amount of time and I thank them for this.
