From the first time I called and spoke with Stephanie I should have known it was a mistake to use this shop. Against my better judgment, and at the request of the insurance company paying for the damage, I took to here. Mistake. I am truly shocked this is a "preferred" shop of the insurance company. From first interactions, Stephanie at the front desk was rude and abrasive. She made it difficult to schedule an appointment for a basic inspection. After my first visit, I was told this should be a "simple fix" that won't take that long. Perhaps that would have been true if they did not wait a day and a half to even get into the car. I can see when the vehicle doors open/close on my phone and know that while i dropped the vehicle off at 9AM on a Monday (5/18), they did not enter the vehicle until almost 2PM on a Tuesday (5/19). I then proceeded to get a call Tuesday evening stating they "could not access" the hood of my car which truly seems impossible since that is not where the damage was and that was NOT an issue before I dropped the car off. After not hearing back about this phantom hood issue, I called them first thing in the morning on 5/20. I received a call on that afternoon advising they were into the hood and Ryan spouted off a ton of "other issues" with the front of the vehicle that truly were nonissues until bringing the vehicle to Gerber. In any event he advised we were set for the vehicle to be done by 5/29. Okay no problem, considering the long weekend I understood that. This week, I get a call Tuesday at 3:50 saying they were working on the car and we "should be set" by Friday. No call Wednesday. No call Thursday. No call Friday (the day the car is supposed to be ready) until I call them asking what is going on. Stephanie answers and says Ryan will call me back. When he calls back, I get the typical customer service speak of "we are trying to get it all done" and passed the blame onto all of the work that was done by the subcontractors. (Continental Collision, Glass of America, etc.) and that they are "still trying" to have everything done today. No guarantees though. Instead of being honest and the delays and accepting accountability, Gerber through Ryan decides to just play the blame game with everyone else. So we will be going into week three of working on a minor repair. I was very clear and direct from the moment I dropped the vehicle off if there were any parts that needed to be ordered to let me have my vehicle until those parts were in. There is no reason to be this delayed and disorganized with a basic repair. I would avoid this repair shop at all costs and go to the one two doors over.

Very friendly and helpful customer service. They did an excellent job of repairing my vehicle. There were a few minor imperfections on the paint work, but they were not very noticeable. They detailed the car very nicely after it was done. Overall I was happy with Gerber and I would recommend them. I feel bad because their Carwise website review said that I only gave them a half of star. It didn't give me the option of how many stars to give. I hope this makes up for that. And it's a completely honest review. If you want friendly knowledgeable service, use Gerber. Thank you for repairing my car in a timely manner!
View on GoogleI don’t like doing this giving people bad reviews but this one I couldn’t let pass. I don’t even know where to start, I will never take my truck to them again. They don’t know how to speak to customers and are very unprofessional, especially Stephanie. Had a car accident and was advised to take it there. My truck had 5,000 work of damage including suspension damage. My main concern was the suspension damage, I asked them to please make sure there was no damage and that the alignment was good. Fast forward I got my truck almost a month later, as soon as I took it I had a bunch of lights turned on my dashboard and my alignment was off. After back and forth was told to get a second opinion, Everything was about the money that I needed to contact the insurance,I didn’t understand because they did the work, I had to get rid of my truck because it was unsafe to drive and they didn’t properly inspect the rear suspension that was bent tires kept going bald and alignment wasn’t right NEVER go to this shop Stay Away
View on GoogleAfter my vehicle was in a minor car accident we took it to Gerber in West Seneca (It was recommended by the insurance company). After a few days we got a notice our vehicle was done and ready for pickup. My wife told Jill that we would be in the next morning to pick our car up. We then received a call from the detectives from west Seneca police saying our vehicle was left outside and the wheels and rims were stolen, also the vehicle was scratched/banged up pretty good. So we asked the collision shop to replace the wheels. They referred to a document stating they aren’t liable for any damages on their property. After back and forth we had to file ANOTHER insurance claim because of the negligence of this collision shop leaving vehicles out of there fenced area and locking the cars. I DO NOT recommend them, unless you want to file two insurance claims to have you vehicle repaired.

They got my car back to me in a timely manner+ everything looks great! When I went to pick my car up, Brandon explained the work they did+ was very knowledgeable. Definitely would recommend:)
