I decided to bring my brother’s car to this shop after reading their reviews and because the vehicle is the same brand as their dealership, expecting a professional and accurate diagnosis. The car had a check engine light on with multiple codes. After waiting a week for the appointment, the car was dropped off on 04/22/26. That same day, they called me and said the issue was an evaporative emissions problem. They told me that including the $160+ diagnostic fee, parts, and labor, the total would be $332.55. However, I already knew the car had multiple codes because it had been checked at AutoZone and two other mechanic shops. What they did NOT tell me that same day was that they had actually found four different codes. Today, they called me again to say that the check engine light turned back on while the car is still in their shop, and only then did they mention the additional codes. Now they are trying to charge another $160+ diagnostic fee for each one. The service representative admitted they found four codes but only worked on one. I requested a full diagnosis of the check engine light, not a partial one. Charging for a repair that does not fix the problem, while failing to disclose all the codes from the beginning, is misleading and unprofessional. As of now, the car is still at their shop with the check engine light on. Very disappointing experience. I expected much better transparency and service based on their reputation.

This is my second vehicle I have purchased with Matthews and every time it just gets better and better! Lew Russo does an excellent job of making sure your are fully informed on your purchase and truly cares about your experience and satisfaction! He was even willing to cross-sell away from his home store to sell me a certified pre-owned Jeep Cherokee. I couldn't be happier and got exactly what I was looking for in a vehicle! This dealership is horrible. I was sold a used Tuscon 2014 with less than 65k miles. I was forced to buy a $2500.00 extended warranty to close my deal. Within 60 days of purchase the engine in this vehicle blew up. There was zero oil when I checked the dipstick. No check oil or check engine light ever came on. I brought the Tucson back to the dealership, were they kept said Tuscon for over 6 months. I was never connected by the service department unless I called them. They did a shitty job making repairs. The vehicle had been broken into and possibly stolen while at the dealership. I guess I m going to have to sue this place to get my money back. Sincerely Thomas Main

Stopped in to look at a Jetta I found on the website. I didn’t have my license on me just my state ID so I figured they’d tell me I couldn’t test drive it, I was just looking to check out the engine and etc to see if this car had what I was looking for. However, when I showed them my ID they didn’t tell me I couldn’t test drive, they told me I had to leave the property entirely “to save time for actual customers” and because “by state law” they can’t allow me to even walk the lot without my license on me (not true obviously).

Wouldn't go anywhere else for a new vehicle!!!! Thank you Frank Valley!!! Amazing prices, amazing vehicles, amazing staff. Highly recommend going here!
