Tarrytown Honda Service Center

I recently rolled into the service station with a flat tire on my Mazda. It was the first place I saw to pull over because I was completely flat. Pablo, who I believe is one of the technicians, was outside, enjoying his break and put my spare tire on for me completely free within 10 minutes. He could’ve easily looked away and enjoyed the rest of his break, but he helped me. 10 out of 10 human being.

I had a great experience at Honda of Tarrytown. Our representative, Isabel, was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She was able to book us a fast, next-day appointment to address our recalls, which we really appreciated. Isabel walked us through a repair that our vehicle needed in a clear and thorough way, making sure we understood everything before moving forward. She also ensured we had access to a courtesy vehicle while the work was being done, which made the whole process much easier. Her communication throughout was excellent — professional, responsive, and thoughtful. Customer service like that really stands out. Highly recommend working with Isabel if you visit Honda of Tarrytown.

Very professional service shop. I feel really comfortable coming here. Very neat and clean with friendly staff and atmosphere. They make sure you get all the details about your car. There is a quiet room, free wifi, area for snacks and coffee with seats and tables for customers in waiting room while they are waiting for the work to be done on the car. A few restaurants close by to the shop so no worries about the hunger.🙂 The shop is not crowded and your work gets done in reasonable time. (Of course I been there evry time on weekend).

I don't trust their business practices. 1) Scheduled an oil change, then realized I'd done it only 3000 miles ago, which they should have pointed out when they brought my records up for the appointment. 2) Gave me a reasonable price on a replacement tire for one with a bubble. But wouldn't give me the mounting & balancing cost. Tried to get me to replace BOTH front tires citing tread wear, but there's only 17,000 miles on them, and they rotated all 4 with both previous oil changes, so that was questionable. 3) The bill for changing one tire was $217! The tire was only $145 of that (see photo). There was one blatantly dubious charge for $3.95 which they couldn't defend and took off. Another $3.50 that was unexplained (circled in pic). And they charged me $2 for a wheel weight, which anywhere else would be included in the installation charge. They clearly expect you won't notice all these little extra charges, which multiplied by all their customers adds up to extra profit.

Consistently excellent service here. This is the only Honda service center I bring my vehicle to. The service advisors are all excellent, diligent and personable. Prices are fair and they never try to hard sell or push any service on you if it's not necessary. The waiting area is nice, clean, and peaceful as well.
