I had a Ford Fusion with around ~120k miles that felt like it had a lot of life left. One day when I pulled out, the steering rack totally snapped out, with the motor seizing. The Ford dealership quoted me $4700 minimum to replace, and would only install new Ford parts--that was higher than the trade-in value of the vehicle. I called around, but my normal mechanic (also good folks, Masellos) could not do it because they couldn't reprogram. Luckily, I found Syracuse Auto Works--they were able to replace and reprogram the EPAS rack for only $2850 out the door. They did fast work: I called on Monday, towed on Tuesday, and got the car back on Thursday. Car is good as new, drives like a charm. I'm really happy I went with these folks, it's a clean shop and the folks appear (as far as I can tell) to be very honest and hard working. Good for them, hope the best for their business. While I will still probably go to my normal mechanic for most jobs, I'll definitely call these guys whenever I need a second opinion or anything they can't handle.

Been taking both of our cars here for about five years now & couldn’t ask for a better team. Incredibly kind and knowledgable staff with reasonable rates & quick turnaround times. One of very few places I’d give 6 stars to if I could. 👍

I've been taking my car here for maybe five years now and won't go anywhere else. Everyone on the staff is super friendly and always helpful. They're as accommodating as possible with scheduling and always get my car taken care of quickly. Prices are as competitive as you'll find. Not once have I been shocked when I looked at my bill. My sister started going here as well and she's been very happy. Can't recommend them enough.

My college son has been here now twice in less than 4 months for a Ford Escape. Less than 3 months ago had a new plastic covering placed under the car as the previous one was shredded. Price was good, but now that is coming off so total waste of money. It’s bent and torn and had to use Gorilla tape to secure it just to keep it from dragging while driving. Additionally, the engine light came on. Took it in to get diagnosed and fixed before driving 8hrs back to VA. They said the coolant was leaking, that it needed new spark plugs, AND a new engine. Quoted me $4300 for the engine alone and labor an additional $3k. Decided to drive it back home to VA after topping it off with coolant to get a second opinion at my regular car shop. FYI The spark plugs were replaced less than 20k miles ago. My car shop did not find any leak after a pressurized test, and no, the engine does not need to be replaced. Not sure what kind of shenanigans are going on here, if they are intentionally trying to take advantage of young adults, or what…but no I will not be going back. This place and its technicians can’t be trusted.
